Serious Pie Downtown

Grabbed some Serious Pie while walking through downtown for takeout and came away impressed but not convinced on the price. The ordering experience was easy and the food was ready to go when I walked up. The actual pizza was also similarly enjoyable - not incredible to my taste but decent. However, for the amount of food we received vs the cost I'm not sure I'd recommend. I do want to try it hot and fresh at the restaurant itself - maybe thats the difference.

The atmosphere here does a lot of warm lighting, lively energy, and the open kitchen had a buzz that makes everything feel a little more exciting. It’s the kind of place where you settle in, sip something cold, and feel like the night’s off to a solid start before a concert at the Moore. The salad came out looking vibrant, but the flavors didn’t land. The olives took over the whole bowl, and the seasoning felt off and I couldn’t pinpoint it. Fresh ingredients, such as the peas were the best by far but the balance just wasn’t there. The pizza was fine, not bad, not memorable. It didn’t leave you thinking about it later. The charcuterie board wasn’t anything to rave about either just an average plate. Still, the vibe alone makes it a decent spot to meet up, snack, and enjoy the space! Plus the service was great!

Such a great find. I came in without really knowing what to expect and ended up having a genuinely excellent experience from start to finish. The place has a really relaxed, welcoming vibe, nothing pretentious, just good energy. The staff stood out right away: friendly, attentive without hovering, and just very easy to interact with. You can tell they care about what they’re doing. Everything felt thoughtful and well executed, from the atmosphere to the food. It’s one of those spots where you can just sit, enjoy, and not overthink anything, it all works. Also worth mentioning: the drink menu looked seriously impressive, with lots of interesting options. Overall, a really solid spot that I’d happily come back to. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Always looking for new pizza spots when traveling. I checked to see what some top places were in the area while visiting. I was feeling a different type of pizza rather than a bar pie or New York style. Arrived on a Saturday early afternoon. No wait to sit. Few people inside. The staff were super friendly to have a conversation with and were knowledgeable about the menu. One of the servers said the mozzarella was good, which was the Ferndale Farms Mozzarella pizza. He explained the sauce wasn’t too spicy or anything. I decided to order this pizza. Before the pizza arrived, I started with the Charcuterie Board. I honestly expected more cheese and possibly some fig spread but I am not mad about it. The prosciutto was excellent and tasted well with the marinated cheese. Once the pizza arrived, I did expect it to be a little larger. I did ask before ordering how many it can feed and it was stated at least 2, but someone people can finish on their own. Since I was with someone else, I decided to just get the one. A total of 8 slices. I believe they said 8 by 11 is the size. If I do decide to order this again in the future, I would get it for myself - it can definitely be consumed by one person without being too full - depending on your hunger level. Excellent pizza. I loved the mozzarella. The sauce was very tasteful. Crust was good - maybe a slight more crisp to it but not a deal breaker. Overall, definitely go here for some pizza and try as much as you can. I was definitely surprised that it would be this good. I will go here again if I visit. Also, they seemed to have a real extensive drink menu. Unfortunately, I did not order anything but reviewing it all, looked amazing. Parking in the area is street, lots, or garages, all paid. Prices vary. It wasn’t too busy considering it was such a nice day.

My friend recommended this place for their Sweet Fennel Sausage pizza. I’m so glad she did because all of the flavors combined was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. So amazing. When I say this is the best sausage pizza I’ve had in Seattle, I’m not even exaggerating, this is the BEST sausage pizza I have had in Seattle. To drink, we got the cherry mule - so refreshing, the Marinated Lacinato Kale - great flavors, and for dessert we did get the triple coconut cream pie - which was the best I have ever had, and I’m not sure if they make it in house but my stomach was bursting at the end since my friend and I forced ourselves to finish it. All of the staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked through the door. I will say it was packed which it was a little loud but it did not take away from how great everything was and how popular they are!
