I just had the best Chicago-style deep dish pizza I’ve ever eaten from Rock’s 24 Pizzeria in Colorado Springs, and that includes Giordano’s, 312 Pizza Company in Nashville, and Billy’s Pizzeria locally. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside while staying rich and structured underneath the layers. The ingredients tasted high quality, the proportions were balanced, and the depth of the pie was exactly what you want from true Chicago-style. It held its shape, sliced cleanly, and delivered that dense, satisfying bite that defines real deep dish. Yes, my pickup order ran a little later than the original estimate. But once we got it home and my family sat down to eat, we all agreed it was absolutely worth the wait. In fact, we would have gladly waited even longer knowing the result. I also want to recognize the manager. She was constantly moving, checking on guests, coordinating with staff, managing orders, and she even personally updated me while I was waiting. That level of care matters. You can tell when someone genuinely takes pride in their business and their product, and it shows in the final result. From now on, this is my go-to spot for deep dish in Colorado Springs. I’ll be recommending Rock’s 24 Pizzeria to friends and family without hesitation. If you want authentic, structured, truly satisfying Chicago-style pizza, this is the place.

As someone who grew up in the Chicago suburbs, tavern-style cracker thin crust isn’t just pizza to me — it’s the default. It’s what I was raised on. And this is hands down the most spot-on version I’ve had outside of Illinois. The crust is exactly what it should be: thin, crisp, with that clean snap when you lift a square. Not floppy. Not trying to be artisan. Not “bar style inspired.” The real thing. The sauce has that slightly sweet, slightly tangy balance that hits instantly if you know what you’re looking for. The cheese coverage, the cut, the texture, the cornmeal. This is no imposter. I’ve been chasing this style for years out here and most places just don’t get it. RIP Grabowski’s but it doesn’t hold a candle to 24. I’m also not going to drive to Denver for some stupid pop up in the middle of the week. This place does it RIGHT. It tastes like Friday nights growing up. It tastes like neighborhood pizza joints wood-paneled walls, peanuts on the floor before everyone god covidtism, and pitchers on the table. If you know Chicago tavern-style, you’ll know this is the real deal.

Fantastic vibe, tremendous beer selection and to die for chicago pizza, both tavern style and deep dish. Their devotion to quality ingredients puts them a level up. Lots of tvs for sports.

We went here specifically to try the Chicago deep dish pizza. Flavor was excellent. It is A LOT of cheese! The Italian chopped salad was incredible and I would go back just for that salad. We plan to return and try other crust styles. One down side on service….I asked for lemon for my water and the server literally brought me one with her bare hands. “My hands are clean” um, no. You just picked up our menus that many others have touched, and brought me a lemon slice with your finger tips. She probably dug her fingers into all the sliced lemons. Bring it in a fork at a minimum! Everyone makes a mistake but this must be taught in food service 101??

As a New Yorker, I was curious to try their Chicago-style pizza and see how it compared. I’ll admit, New York style still has my heart, but I was impressed with the fresh, quality ingredients they used here. The pizza is huge and extremely cheesy. Our waitress mentioned it has a whole pound of cheese! Definitely a cheese lover’s paradise. The crust was buttery, crispy, and very satisfying. My son ordered the Lakeshore Sunrise (a non-alcoholic drink) and it was delicious. It's a bit on the sweeter side, but very tropical and refreshing. Heads up: the pizza takes about 45 minutes to bake, so don’t come starving. Since the pizza takes about 45 minutes to bake, we ordered some mild buffalo wings to hold us over, and those were also fantastic. The staff was friendly, prices were reasonable, and the restaurant itself is neat, clean, and modern since the building is fairly new. I’d definitely return, but next time I want to try their tavern-style pizza, which is closer to what I’m used to with New York style.
