So excited Leopold’s is open! We’ve passed the papered-over “coming soon” windows for a few months on our nightly dog walks, and tonight they were OPEN! 🤩 Wow! What a lovely experience! The menu is irreverent and fun, and the pizza is DELICIOUS. No joke that this is a top-3 best pizza I’ve had since moving back to the US from Italy. Roasted eggplant pizza was a slice of heaven, with fresh arugula, balsamic, and perfectly tangy mozzarella. I love that Leopold’s has a zero-proof cocktail menu… tried their version of an Aperol spritz and it was just lovely. The outdoor rooftop deck is a beautiful spot to enjoy the sunset and watch OCC’s lights come on, and we even got to bring our doggie up to the roof. Service is warm and hospitable, and prices are reasonable for the quality and experience. And they offer gluten free pizza and sandwich options also! 🙌 We will absolutely be back!!

We ate here our first night in Colorado Springs and loved the hot honey pizza and the perfect crust, that was crunchy and airy and soft on the inside. The garlic knots were also to die for, they had a great taste and delectable overall. We had canollis for dessert and they absolutely tasted homemade and the cream was perfect, not too sweet and perfect consistency. My whole family also enjoyed the rooftop patio with great views of pikes peak and atmosphere overall.

Highly recommend Pizzeria Leopold! I’ve been twice now, and the service has been great both times despite how packed they were. The pizza is excellent, but the real standout for me was the chicken cutlet sandwich… it tasted incredibly authentic and took me straight back to New York. They have a great little bar with solid drinks, and the rooftop is a really nice touch for the atmosphere. My second visit had a bit of a wait on the food, but they were slammed and quality food takes time. People in the Springs sometimes expect fast-food speeds at a sit-down spot, but if you’re just polite and check in with your server, you’ll have an amazing experience. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

This place is GREAT! I am a pizza snob and only get pizza while traveling. Like others mention, the sauce is amazing. We shared a pepperoni and garlic knots. If we come back to the area, we’ll definitely go back!
