If you’re craving real New York–style pizza, this place absolutely nails it. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy with just the right chew, the sauce has that authentic tangy flavor, and the cheese melts into every bite like it should. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in every pie that comes out of the oven. The atmosphere is laid-back but welcoming — it feels like a true neighborhood spot. The staff is friendly and fast, even when they’re busy. Whether you grab a quick slice or order a whole pie, you’ll leave wishing you had room for more. Hands down the best pizza I’ve had outside of New York. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍕

Great divey little pizza place with wonderful food!! We shard the kitchen sink pizza without Canadian bacon, and a meatball sub. It was absolutely delicious. The crust was nice and thin and crunchy, the sauce was possibly the best I’ve had. 10/10 will go back and encourage everyone I know to go too.

I am from NY and I love pizza. So, let's see if Gessi passes the test: The slice held up to the "fold test," it was crisp and chewy. The marina sauce was flavorful, but lacked something, maybe oregano, but it held up the cheese. It was good, not authentic NY, but close.

Leon Gessi has some of the best New York style pizza slices in Colorado Springs! Perfectly crispy crust, amazing flavor, and generous portions. This place is the real deal — just like a true NYC slice. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic pizza! 🍕⭐

What a quaint little New York pizza place. We were just looking for something close by while visiting Colorado Springs and stumbled upon it. The food was great, the people were very nice, and the decor was all NY right down to the subway maps on the tables. We will definitely go again when we visit Colorado Springs.
