⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally got to check out Ziggy's Magic Pizza Shop in downtown Phoenix and this place absolutely lived up to the hype. From the second we walked in the vibe was different in the best way possible. Retro atmosphere, old school pizza shop energy, music going, people laughing, pinball machines nearby, and just an all around cool hidden gem feel that downtown Phoenix needs more of. The staff was awesome from the start. I told them it was my first time there and the girl behind the counter took the time to explain everything to us instead of rushing us through the line. She gave us the rundown on the menu, the hidden room, and the overall experience. That kind of customer service honestly matters because nowadays most places just want your money and want you gone. Here it actually felt welcoming. We kept it simple and ordered a large cheese pizza and French fries extra well done. Now everybody who knows me knows I’m usually the first person to roast frozen fries 😂 so I gotta be honest here. Yeah, you can tell they’re frozen if you know food like I do, BUT once they cooked them extra crispy they were actually really good. Crunchy outside, soft inside, seasoned well, and definitely better than expected. For me personally the price point maybe feels a little high for frozen fries, but the overall experience made up for it. The pizza though… that’s where this place earned the 5 stars 🍕🔥 The cheese to sauce ratio was absolutely on point. The sauce actually had flavor instead of tasting bland or sugary like some places around Phoenix. The crust had a nice texture and the cheese pull was perfect. Simple classic cheese pizza done the right way. Sometimes a plain cheese pizza tells you everything you need to know about a pizza shop and Ziggy’s nailed it. Washed it all down with a blue Powerade mixed with a splash of lemonade and somehow that combo hit harder than expected 😂 Now for the coolest part of the whole experience… the hidden room. If you know, you know 👀 This place has a secret speakeasy style entrance hidden through what looks like a freezer door that leads into the Stardust Pinbar. It seriously felt like stepping into another world. Neon lights, music, dance floor, pinball machines, arcade vibes, hidden bar energy… it’s honestly one of the coolest concepts I’ve seen in Arizona. The place is inspired by David Bowie and has this funky retro nightlife atmosphere that makes you forget you’re even still in Phoenix. � Fotospot +2 I can easily see this becoming a perfect date night spot. You can grab pizza, have drinks, dance, play pinball, and just hang out all in one place without needing to drive around downtown all night. It’s one of those places that feels like an experience instead of just another restaurant. I also found out they’ve won local recognition for their hidden entrance and dance floor which honestly makes complete sense after seeing it in person. � Phoenix New Times +1 You can tell why locals talk about this place so much. It’s weird in the best way possible, fun, welcoming, and memorable. Downtown Phoenix has a lot of spots, but Ziggy’s stands out because it actually has personality. Definitely glad I finally checked it out and I’ll 100% be coming back again.

What a cool discovery in PHX. Had 30 minutes to catch my breath and pulled in to Ziggy’s. Mostly for free parking! Ordered some food which was super fast and yummm. Ok because of free parking and Beer! Turns out the beer section is like a speak easy though a freezer door and what a surprise. Full bar, table service, pinball machines, and clean restrooms! Total score on all fronts. Outside seating with you favorite beverage or inside to have the pinball championship with your friends. I will bring the kids before 9 pm to eat chill and play pinball!!! Worth a visit… Enjoy

Great atmosphere. Family friendly during the day. Adult dance floor by night. Great pizza and delicious drinks! Affordable and fun!

Best lunch special in downtown Phoenix. For $11-$14 you can get two slices and a drink or swap out a slice for 4 wings. And the motif is Ninja Turtle stuff because they loved pizza. Food comes out fast, in and out in 5 minutes, tops. Best of all they're open on a Tuesday, unlike some nearby pizza shops.

PIZZA in a somewhat PINCH! Ziggy’s was a life-saver considering I wanted a pizza at 10:30pm after a trip to the Suns game nearby. I was staying at the Hampton Inn with family so I placed a delivery order, I waited 45 mins for my extra-large pepperoni pizza. The online ordering system was a little whack, it took me a minute to get my order right. However, i eventually figured it out and was able to track my food. The wait was reasonable considering the DT Phoenix traffic and buzz following the game. My pizza came right at the approximate time, we received our order at the hotel lobby! The pizza was solid, I’d say it’s in the middle of the pack when it comes to local pizza. I would like to try their other options as the pepperoni was amazing.
