Loved this place. Much easier to park than I expected. Service was great, sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. Let me sample a beer or two. Looks pretty neat inside, seat was comfortable enough as any other barstool. The pizza was super good, love a Detroit style pie. Great red sauce and fresh Parmesan shaved on top. Crust was delicious, nice and crisp with great edges from the oven. Quite pleased with my visit here, will return!

We visited Federal Pizza on a Sunday afternoon. Parking was not an issue as the lot had a few open parking spots available. There was about a 5 minute wait time to be seated at a table. The decor appeared to be mid century as did the lettering and architecture of the building which is really appealing for the neighborhood location on Central Avenue. The menu is simple with plenty of pizza choices and they do have gluten free crust options. We ordered the Heirloom Caprese for the appetizer and the Flaming Lips pizza on their gluten free crust. The pizza was delicious and baked perfect with a slight crunch. The appetizer was great. We also ordered a Supremium pizza to go and that pizza was baked to a nice crunch on the outer edges as it is a pan pie crust. The service was excellent and we will visit again. I highly recommend this pizza restaurant. Federal Pizza earned their 5 stars!!!

Wow! The food was amazing. After hiking Shaw Butte, we definitely had an appetite—and this happy hour hit the spot. The ½ pizza 🍕 and salad 🥗 deal was a great value and absolutely delicious. A must-visit!

I love the vibes and the lighting here. It’s so chill, good music too! Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful. Drink: Pineapple Moscow mule, absolutely refreshing. Appetizer: Tried the cheese bread and it was good! The side of marinara sauce that comes with it has a little kick but it’s DELICIOUS. Dinner: The sweet potato pizza with chicken added is heavenly. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.

​I had one night alone in Phoenix and spent two weeks researching where to order my "me-time" meal. I landed on Federal Pizza, and it did not disappoint. ​Federal Chop Salad: I genuinely need the recipe for this dressing. I could take a bath in it. Fresh, crisp, and perfectly balanced. ​Flaming Lips Pizza (added Pineapple): As someone with a high spice tolerance, I can confirm this actually brings the heat! I’m so glad I added pineapple; it provided the perfect sweet relief to the spice. ​Nutella Tiramisu: This was the perfect ending to a perfect evening. Decadent and worth every calorie. ​Note on Delivery: I ordered a bottle of wine to my hotel, and while it arrived corked (no screw cap), I didn't have a wine key on hand. I ended up having to push the cork in with a toothbrush 🤷🏼‍♀️ Obviously not the restaurant's fault, but if you’re ordering to a hotel, just make sure you have a way to get into the bottle. ​Even with the "wine workout," this was easily a 5-star experience.
