My boyfriend and I are visiting Philly from New York and when we saw the huge slices we were excited to try it. In my 29 years on this earth this was probably the worst pizza I’ve had in my life. $7 for a huge slice of garbage. 1. It was super thick and dry at the same time. 2. They barely heated the pizza up and by the time we walked back to our Airbnb which was LITERALLY NEXT DOOR it was room temperature. Not warm. And the cheese wasn’t melting like a hot fresh pizza slice should. 3. As you can see in the photo I was struggling to eat the pizza because the flavor and texture was not there. I also find it extremely lazy that they only do plain slices and don’t add toppings unless you’re buying a whole pie. As a New Yorker I’m extremely disappointed because this is far from good authentic Italian pizza. I rather eat papa John’s for the rest of my life than eat this pizza again. I hope this truly isn’t the standard for Philly pizza. If it is, please come to New York or Connecticut to know what good quality pizza SHOULD taste like.

It's a small shop. The slices are huge. One slice was enough for 2 people. The way the cheese melted on top of the pizza was a work of art. There is a place to stand and eat, no seating. They only accept cash for the orders but there is an ATM machine on the spot.

I just spent $49 + $6 for a little extra cheese. I'm a repeat customer who spends a lot of money at Lorenzo and referred several people to the business. Unfortunately, Lorenzo did me wrong today. A skinny gentleman took my order. I told both the skinny gentleman and another gentleman in the back that I did not want double cheese. I wanted just a little extra cheese. I swear on my life that I repeated this over and over again. When I got home, we could not eat the pizza. Lorenzo workers did not listen to me or my request. They were more worried about collecting money and serving the next customer. I called to speak with a manager but no decision maker was available. I have attached pictures to help the readers understand my frustration.

Listen I am not one to complain about food. Ever literally ever. I stoped grabbed my wife a slice on my way to drop her off for work. The prior night I was looking online seen they had huge delicious slices. “Pizza was trash “ hands down the worst slice I ever had in my life. Nothing about it was good at all. My wife looked at me and said only reason I’m still biting it is because u paid for it. She knows I’m cheap and do t waste nothing. Well I threw that right in the trash soon as we pulled up to her job. Slice was big can’t deny it. Service typical pizza shop service u know where the pizza man is also the counter person. I could live with that. But taste wise I’ll do domino over this any day

Absolutely loved the pizza here! The crust had the perfect balance of crunch and softness, and the toppings tasted incredibly fresh. The cheese was rich and melted just right, making every bite satisfying. Service was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and had a nice, cozy vibe. Great spot for hanging out with friends or grabbing a quick bite. Definitely coming back again!
