I really enjoy Giovanni's Pizza on Chestnut Street. It has a great local bar feel, with lots of TVs to watch the games. The food is affordable, the service is always friendly, and the menu has a nice mix of Italian dishes and American bar favorites. A great neighborhood spot that I keep coming back to.

I moved to Center City about seven months ago from this suburbs and I’ve tried almost every pizza place down here and Giovanni‘s bar and Grill by far is the best. Benny Who makes the pizzas always has a smile on his face and is very accommodating. My favorite is the margarita. It’s the best i have tasted anywhere. The other day I ordered chicken Parmesan and it was the best chicken Parmesan. I’ve tried anywhere. The chicken was sliced like chicken cutlet. The rigatoni‘s were cooked perfect and the sauce was excellent and it was enough for two days. The staff couldn’t be any nicer and Renée is the greatest. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this is the place to go. Believe me when I tell you. This was one portion and I made them split it into two for me because it’s impossible to eat again great restaurant great food

Food was good, I had a Fajita Chicken Wrap and it was very tasty. Had some French fries which are pretty standard, nothing insane to say about them. I had a Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Margarita which was very very good! Overall a strong 4/5 experience. Needed a quick bite and it did the job. Food came out lightning fast to! Prices are extremely reasonable as well with generous portions.

The food was amazing. We were in the city working an over night job out. We ordered the food it showed up fast and they also provided us with all condiments that we needed. Food was amazing. We ordered multiple times that week.

Giovani’s is tucked away on Chestnut Street, I’ve walked past it a million times and finally stopped in for a slice! Their vodka margarita pizza was next level. Crispy, good amount of sauce to cheese ratio. Added some red pepper flakes and it was perfect. The service was so friendly and I loved the ambiance - very homey. I’ll definitely be back in the future!
