honestly one of the best pizzas in philly, and i say this as someone who’s been to a fair amount of places here. the crust is so crispy, the pies are inventive, the pizza is big. even tho its not a dine in place, id definitely say eat it as soon as it comes out because the third time i got it we got takeout , and in the 20 mins it took to get home the pizza was just not worth it w how soggy it felt &being over 50+ for just two pies. BUT when iv eaten it fresh it truly was just some of the best pizza. the garlic knots were okay i wouldnt get them again tho, but the pizza was def top tier

I stopped by this pizza shop for a couple of slices priced between $4.50–$6. I tried one of their specialty slices (General Tso chicken with pineapple) and a pepperoni slice. The specialty slices come on a thicker crust—moist, flavorful, and with a nice crunch. The plain and pepperoni slices were thin crust perfection (crispy edges)! They didn’t skimp on toppings, the portions were generous, and both slices were super filling. 5/5

Dough Head Pizza would probably be my go-to pizza spot in the Passyunk area if it weren’t for the price. The pizza itself is undeniably delicious, creative, and very well made. You can tell there’s a lot of thought put into the ingredients and flavor combinations, and both pizzas we ordered were super filling and tasted great from the first bite to the last. That said, the pricing is tough to get past. Spending $30+ on a single pizza is hard to justify when there are other nearby spots where you can get two pizzas for the same price. While the quality here is high, pizza is still pizza at the end of the day, and for how often I like to order it, the cost makes this more of an occasional splurge than a regular go-to. We placed a takeout order and were told about a 30-minute wait, which ended up being pretty accurate. Pickup was smooth and easy, and the location is super convenient—right near Pat’s and Geno’s—making it an easy stop if you’re already in the area. Overall, I’d definitely recommend trying Dough Head at least once because the pizza really is good and a bit different from the usual. Whether it becomes a repeat spot depends on how you feel about the price. For me, if it were a little more affordable, I’d probably be ordering from here weekly or at least monthly. As it stands now, it’s more of a one-and-done experience unless prices change.

I’ve ordered from Dough Head probably 30–40 times, and each time the pizza is exceptional. It’s hands down the best pizza in the city. The ingredients are high quality, and you can taste the difference. I know some people complain about the price, but I prefer to pay a little more for great ingredients and consistently good food than save a few dollars on something mediocre. Dough Head has always been worth it to me. Please make sure to check out their salads. The beet salad is my favorite, and it genuinely makes my day when I see it on the menu. Their desserts are great too. Delivery has always been super quick in my experience, and my order arrives hot and as it should. After ordering this many times without a single bad experience, they’ve definitely earned my loyalty. For people who leave negative reviews without giving Dough Head a chance to address and to remedy the complaints, it is not fair to Dough Head. No one is perfect. If you called them directly, I’m pretty sure they’d make it right. Given the high quality of ingredients and the overall consistency of their pizzas, it is clear that they strive for perfection and would happily correct your order. For me, Dough Head is my go-to spot. I’ve tried a lot of pizza around the city, and nothing else really compares

How can they do me like this ? Every one of these "fritter" nuggets are burnt to hell and they had the nerve to actual serve this nd throw some shiesty buff sauce on it? Wild, great pizza but thts bs rn is legitimately u edible and they should be ashamed.
