The service was top tier from the second we walked up and the food came out hot, fresh, and loaded with flavor. You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. Crust was perfect, toppings were generous, and everything tasted made with love. Easily one of the best pizza spots I’ve had in a minute. If you’re thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and go ASAP. Definitely coming back.

The crust was not good at all. Cool idea. Poor execution. If you are gonna try something like black crust, you better bring it. This dough definitely is a frozen product. None of us enjoyed it. Will not return

My partner and I went yesterday and we loved the pizza! We ordered the Ellison and garlic knots. The crust is not only black, but soft and fluffy. I love the texture. This is my new favorite pizza place!

Being born and raised in the North East side of Oklahoma city I had to try The East Side Pizza house, I remember when Pizza hut was our only option next to frozen store Pizza. We got there around 7pm ish and there was a line of 10 people or so and a few people waiting on their orders but the line moved quickly. I got the Ellison (named after Ralph Ellison look him up) Pizza which comes with the Black crust, an order of East side knots and a bottled water. It didn't take but about 10 minutes to come out to our table. We didn't enjoy the knots because they were dry , not as in the inside was dry but the outside wasn't brushed with garlic, butter or anything just crust. BUT the pizza more than made up for it. The Alfredo sauce was rich and creamy but not overwhelming and blended with the fresh toppings. I know you only want to know about the melaninated dough well it was delicious, no after taste and it was soft. Over all I loved the place , the decor and menu options. For me its the pizza box. Pros: Great Food Great Atmosphere Affordable Cons: Busy street and I am pretty sure they forgot to butter the knots. I will definitely be back

After talking with the staff member I took her suggestions and ordered a Solo Dolo Deep Deuce and small Caesar salad. She did not steer me wrong they were spot on. The Caesar salad was good but the pizza really shined. The crust has a unique flavor that you don’t expect but is great. The toppings were tasty and generous. It is a great spot for lunch.
