I’ve been visiting Charlotte this week for work, and used the tried & true Reddit threads to find recommendations for pizza in the city! Pizza Baby exceeded our expectations in the best way possible. The atmosphere of the establishment & the neighborhood are top-notch. If you want to feel like a local, go here. We loved our food and felt like there were plenty of options. My friend and I noted how we didn’t feel “heavy” after eating their pizza. After meeting and speaking with the owner, it seems like that is the goal! He wants the pizza to leave you feeling that way rather than bogged down. If I were local, this would be a spot I’d visit all the time! Attached are photos of the Lu’au pizza (bottom) and the Margherita Pizza on top. My friend doesn’t eat diary, so she got it without cheese. However, we did learn later that vegan cheese is an option!

The cutest little shop with good city views + indoor and outdoor seating. The environment here is EVERYTHING! People were so welcoming, coming in felt like I was already a regular. Truly the kindest people work here. Add to that the food was amazing, completely worth the time and money. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Went here with my wife and we ordered the roman style pizza. We were able to order two different selections and swap halves, which was a great feature of the roman style pizza. I loved the focaccia bread take on pizza. The pizza was delicious and the ingredients tasted extremely fresh. The inside is a bit small and cramped but doesn't take too much away from the experience. Service was quick, laid back, but professional. The pizza wasn't too filling, but also not too sparse. Very good price for pizza of this quality. Loved it so much that I took my whole family here a few months later. Would reccomend and will definitely be back.

The pizzas at Pizza Baby are incredible! If you’re ordering a “slice,” just know it’s not your typical slice—it might not be obvious from the menu, but they’re totally worth it. Each one comes cut into two pieces, making them perfect for sharing and trying different pizzas. The ingredients are super fresh and high quality, which makes every bite amazing. The restaurant itself has a really cozy vibe inside, and the outdoor seating is adorable—great for a spring night. Just keep in mind that the indoor space is a bit tight, so if you’re going with a big group, the “West” location might be a better option since it’s more spacious. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

The Roman style slices were to DIE FOR. I got the Blanco and my wife got the Queen Margherita. The vibes were immaculate, and the food was even better. The server was super sweet and very personable. Will be back.
