This pizza is spectacular.. easily top 3 favorite of all time. Not to mention, the service is great. We rode our bikes in without thinking of how we’d take the leftovers (because obviously we have to take the leftovers!) Gina wrapped them up special for us and put them in a bag we could carry on the bike handle! Absolutely recommend this place!

Best Gluten-Free Pizza in Charlotte (and Beyond!) If you’re looking for truly exceptional gluten-free pizza, this is the place. Hands down, the best gluten-free crust I’ve ever had; thick, flavorful, and satisfying in a way that just doesn’t exist anywhere else. Most gluten-free crusts are thin and flimsy, but theirs is a game-changer. The pizza itself is absolutely delicious, and the team behind it is just as amazing. One time, my order came out missing the toppings I requested. On a busy night with a 30-minute wait, they rushed out a fresh pizza without hesitation. That level of service is rare and speaks volumes about how much they care about their customers. My fiancé orders the regular crust, and he loves it too. So whether you’re gluten-free or not, you can’t go wrong here. They know what they’re doing, and I recommend them to anyone who loves great pizza.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! To start with… the owner, Gena (who I recognized from the One Bite pizza review on TikTok), was actively washing dishes and sweeping when I arrived. There’s something said about an owner who will roll up their sleeves and do any task needed. Now on to the pizza itself… I’ve had John’s of Bleecker Street and it was amazing with that being said I’d put Geno D’s in the same category! One bite of Geno D’s and you instantly taste the freshness of the ingredients and can clearly tell that it was made with love from a place of passion. Their sauce is robust, with a slight tang, and just enough sweetness from the tomatoes to make you crave more. The cheese covers the pie, has a nice pull, but knows its place and does not overpower the other ingredients. The small all beef pepperoni curls so beautifully with a slight crisp around their edges as they hold little pools of flavor goodness themselves. Last but certainly not least the crust… it is thin yet does not flop, it’s thin yet still has a nice chew, and I couldn’t put it down. I ate every square inch of each slice with the same amount of appreciation and satisfaction as my first. Thank you Gena for such an amazing experience!!!

Located in a kitschy bohemian food court in uptown Charlotte. The pizza was good, but missed expectations given the high rating on Google. I had a plain pepperoni. Generally crispy, but foldable crust, the dough and sauce had good flavor. It tasted fresh and the price was fair for this style and quality. A 10 inch might be good for 2 people if you had a salad or another side, but I put away the whole thing and washed it down with a beer from the tap across the court. No major complaints, just not worth of 5 stars.

Best Pizza in Charlotte - Hands Down! If you are looking for authentic, high-quality pizza in Charlotte, look no further than Geno D’s at the Market at 7th Street. I am picky about pizza, and Geno D’s absolutely blew me away! The Crust: Perfectly crispy on the bottom, airy in the middle, and not too heavy—a true Jersey Shore style. The Sauce: Tangy, rich in basil, fresh and not overly sweet. Order the Grandma Pie. It is out of this world, and the antipasto with an order of Garlic Knots is required, are fantastic! The Vibe & Service: Gina is the nicest and Nick served with a friendly attitude. Welcoming and eager to please. The food hall setting is fun, and they offer 90 minutes of free parking validation in the 7th Street Garage. I am a pizza snob and grew up on NY Style pizza. Eating this pizza was like being at home.
