Kitsch vibe. Cool, old school murals with roman columns. You have to order at the counter and pu k your meal up at the counter. Staff was friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Excellent place for a ite before going to Popjoy hall at UNM for a performance. I enjoyed a crisp, fresh side garden salad, and the lunch portion of spaghetti and meatballs. Perfect portion!. My husband had freshly made Caesar salad and the fruition di mare in a white wine and red sauce marinara. Both came with a nice size roll to soak up the sauce with. We shared a cannoli for dessert...yum. overall recommend this place highly.

Tom and Rory are excellent and the food is great here. If it’s your birthday you also get a slice of cheesecake and sung to. Make sure to stop by here and get some sweets or a giant slice. This was my favorite place to watch the games when I went to UNM and still great to go to for the pasta and paninis 😛

First time trying Saggios, put a phone order in for a large pepperoni pizza well done, gal on the phone said it'll be ready in 20 mins, got there 30 mins later, was told it wasn't ready yet, sat there 30 more mins for 1 lrg pepperoni, gal at front desk threw in a free cheesecake slice for the inconvenience which was much appreciated, gal forgot to give me a fork and napkins though, pizza 🍕 was good had great flavor cheese was stringy and crust was well done as asked, but price for large pepperoni was steep! 30 bucks for a pepperoni pizza is wild! I'd stop by once and a blue moon🌙

It’s really hard to find good things to say about this restaurant, in comparison to the uptown location. The service here is never great - the workers always seem miserable, and are always inconvenienced when you ask them for something, or you’re missing something. They also make it seem like your fault that THEY got it wrong? We come in tonight (4/22) and get a focaccia prosciutto sandwich and 3 build your own calzones. My PROSCIUTTO SANDWICH had NO PROSCIUTTO. When we bring it up to be fixed, the worker says “oh that sandwich doesn’t have meat on it”. YOU'RE JOKING😭 they ended up fixing it, but are you serious? Know your own menu! We wait nearly 30 minutes, to receive a someone else’s order, which left the other costumers waiting longer for their order because of incompetent staff. The food is so average and way overpriced for this kind of service and the restaurant consistently messing up orders. It’s unlikely I’ll return to this location and visit the uptown location - way better service and food!!

Being in the mood for spaghetti I thought I would give Saggios a try. At first glance I fell in love with the atmosphere, great murals, great music, fun vibe. That was quickly over when I placed my order. I was made to feel like I was bothering the tall young man who took my order. He crossed over and started talking to the customer next to me. There were issues with the tap credit card. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce instead of meatballs. My order came with meatballs that were chopped up. The sauce tasted like it was out of a can. Not impressed. It was hard to find a clean table. I asked for a spoon and the young lady pointed to plastic wear to go with my metal fork. I thought that was odd. I don’t see myself returning.
