Our first time here, came highly recommended. Food was excellent, sat at the bar near the pizza oven. Music was playing at just the right volume, acoustics are good inside so even though it is crowded it isn't noisy, at least from where we were sitting at the bar.. The person at the bar was polite and cordial, servers were attentive, and watching the cooks they were attentive to what they were doing and kept the prep and cooking area clean. We ordered the Tavern pizza and Korean BBQ pizza with the roasted cauliflower starter, and one non-alcholic drink. We particularly enjoyed the sauce on the Tavern pizza, the best pizza sauce I have ever had. With a 25 % tip (because for me it was excellent), it came out to about $97. A full lunch at an average/nice place for two people with tip is typically around $60-$70, but I was happy to pay more because it was not just a restaurant serving food, they provided an experience created by the entwined professional skills and genuine customer care you can sense emanating from the staff. You leave feeling like you had a little break from the day to day and life's stress, and that my friends is a lost art these days. So thanks to the staff for that. We will be back.

They dish out some very delicious wood fired pizzas. The Gochugaru Spiced Wings were cooked to perfection and the Korean BBQ Pizza was something unlike anything we had on a pizza before! Pro tip: The wings are a happy hour item before 5pm along with a 1 topping pizza which is perfect for those with kids!

Pizzeria Lola does an awesome job to make dishes from pretty simple yet authentic Italian food items into a delicacy. The chalkboard item of the day had an awesome olive oil seared sourdough bread, with mashed peas, burrata cheese topped with micro-greens, so good. The wood fire pizza is so exotic and awesome, we have the Hawain one and it was extra ordinary, must visit with friends and family!!

Anthony Bourdain romanticized Minneapolis, calling it a melting pot of culture that can be seen in its culinary fight for independence. Tucked in a hip neighborhood with cottage lined streets is Korean owned and operated, @pizzerialola Appropriately named after the owner's dog. For the past 15 years they have been burning wood to cook the best Italian style pizza I have ever had. If you sit at the bar you can watch it cook and see how smoothly the kitchen operates while they prep the pizza. Have you ever heard of sea salt and olive oil on ice cream? Me neither, but they make the soft serve in house and use a quality oil. The flavor blends together in a way you will never forget. I INSIST that you try this. If you ask me it's like you dropped New York City in the Midwest. A sprawling landscape of tightly packed neighborhoods making up the greater twin City area. People's influences from all over the world come together in an under-appreciated city.

Lola's is a fantastic pizzeria. A Korean owned restaurant with delicious pizza, sign me up! Our favorite were the sha-roni and the Spanish special. I love the spin on traditional pizza to pop out the flavors. Simple divine. 10/10 must visit and experience this yourself.
