This was my first time visiting Chicago, and AI recommended that I try the city’s famous deep-dish pizza. I came to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. It was honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The deep-dish pizza was loaded with toppings and plenty of cheese, making it very different from any pizza I’ve had before. It’s absolutely delicious when served hot and fresh. The chicken wings were also excellent, with a unique flavor that stood out from typical wings. The prices are a bit on the expensive side, but the portions are generous, so I think it’s worth it. The service was friendly and attentive as well. Overall, this is definitely a restaurant worth trying if you’re visiting Chicago and want to experience authentic deep-dish pizza. 😄🍕

We went to Lou Malnati's Pizzeria and ordered the classic medium with extra pepperoni for two of us. It was really good — the crust was buttery and flaky, the sauce had a nice tang to it, and they definitely didn’t skimp on the pepperoni,sausage and cheese. That being said… it was SO filling. We barely made a dent in it. If you’re just two people, I’d honestly recommend going for the smaller size unless you’re starving or want leftovers. Overall, really solid deep dish and definitely worth trying — just pace yourself 😅🍕

The staff was friendly and the pizza was one of the best I've had in Chicago in my 2 weeks I have been here. Love the sauce. Nice chunks of tomatoes and great flavor! The crust is cooked perfectly! The cheese was laid on thick!!! Check online they have some great deals! I for a small deep dish (added a topping) and bone in wings for less than $30

Lou Malnati's is a must visit when you're in Chicago, especially if you want the full deep dish pizza experience. It would almost feel wrong to leave the city without trying it. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly and guided to our table by a friendly staff that immediately made us feel at home. The restaurant has a rich sense of history, with walls filled with photos and memories that give the space a unique character. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're dining at a true Chicago landmark. Our server was attentive throughout the meal, and the deep dish pizza arrived exactly as we had hoped: hot, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and one I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

We were so excited to try Chicago deep dish pizza for the first time. I Googled it - trying to do a little research- and Lou Malnati’s came up as basically a “sure bet” for authentic Chicago deep dish. We made a reservation to be safe, but got there 1/2 hr early. They seated us right away, which was nice after a day of traveling. The place is cute, even under construction, and the bathrooms were clean. We ordered water and lemonade and a Caesar salad to start. The salad was delicious- and the individual portion was big enough for two. We each ordered personal pizza - a cheese and their “classic.” Neither of us loved the sauce - a little too tangy for us. There was plenty of cheese, but the crust! It was so hard we could barely cut it with a knife. It was pretty disappointing because we’ve always heard how amazing deep dish crust is. Maybe that’s normal, but it certainly wasn’t what we were expecting. The service was prompt and attentive, though not necessarily friendly.
