First time at this location in over a decade, or any Giordanos for that matter. While I never thought it was great, it seemed decent from what I recall. After sampling three different styles tonight I can confidently report this is some of the worst pizza in the city. The traditional thin crust is what you get at kids birthday parties. It's pizza without flavor or character. The new tavern style was actually ok. The toppings, cheese, and sauce were decent. The crust wasn't very crispy and not much flavor, but overall not bad. The deep dish was terrible. A mound of undercooked bread dough. I have no idea how this is considered one of the better places for deep dish, there are a dozen options that easily surpass the quality. The appetizers were also subpar but not worth writing up. The service and atmosphere were fine, no issues there.

On this particular occasion, I flew into Chicago on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, as My GodSon was graduating from high school the day following. It was an incredible ceremony and knew exactly where we could celebrate his amazing accomplishment. We made a reservation over the phone with a lovely lady by the name of Sarah at 815 West Van Buren Street, Chicago, Illinois 60607. She greeted us with such great hospitality and sat us down promptly upon our arrival to accommodate the ten of us comfortably, which also included a three-year-old child. And so, she brought out a couple coloring pages along with crayons to keep our child preoccupied. The Giordano's Sampler and Italiano Salad is a great recommendation to begin with as the food was incredible. Then our deep dish pizzas arrived and as always, we look forward to that cheese pull and by far this was the most cheesiest slice pull ever experienced at Giordano's! Even shared it on social media showcasing the reason why we come here! A very big shout out to Sarah as she truly set the bar high, exemplifying excellent customer service. She truly made this experience for us a memorable one!

First place we decided to eat once in Chicago. Nice decor, friendly and efficient service, and we finally got to experience true Chicago pizza! It was very good! (If you’ve never ordered it before, keep in mind that it takes a while as it is very thick ) Will return when we’re back!

We are in Chicago for the day. We drove up heading to New York coming from Kansas City where we live. We checked into our hotel and after a 8 hour drive we needed dinner. We found a pizza place 6 minutes from our hotel and headed that way. We listened to GPS and pulled into the parking lot $10 to park... I'd recommend looking for street parking a block or 2 away. We were in the parking lot and I was tired of driving so we paid and headed inside. We were greeted and seated. We ordered and because it's a deep dish it took a bit but we had some parmesan frys that were delicious while we waited. The pizza was delicious and I'd definitely recommend stopping by. Looking forward to comparing it to New York pizza in a couple days.

My husband and I hadn't been here in almost 10 years. We've been twice in the last month. Great food atmosphere and service. It was nice and chill. Drinks were good as well. We'll be back again soon
