Walked in, didn't wait too long for a table, though it did get busy after we sat down. Server was really nice and friendly, no complaints there, came to take our order, drinks and food, she asked if we needed more time, we didn't. Ordered three apps, Calamari which was good, the batter is nice and light, there wasn't much calamari flavor, but the batter seasoning was good, if you want the flavor of calamari, I would skip this one. Fish and chips was really good, probably enough for a meal portion, fish was nice and flaky, while the batter was thick and crispy/crunchy. Fries seem to be home made considering they're a little thicker than shoestring, but not as thick as McDonald's. Though the fries were nice and crispy with a nice potato inner. The chicken wings were surprisingly very good, nice crispy batter, well seasoned, light spicy bite towards the back of the throat. Also very juicy, great apps. On to the reason for the three star. Pizza was mid, subpar in my option. Ordered pepperoni, garlic spinach with added chicken, and the deli meat pizza. The crust was probably the best part, I think the toppings don't do the crust justice. The pepperoni was mid, the pepperonis weren't salty, needed the added Parmesan and crushed red pepper to season it up, and even that wasn't enough. The garlic spinach, had no flavor at all, I didn't realize it wasn't a red sauce pizza either, maybe no sauce? Was an oil based? Not sure, but I would not order this one again. The crust was good though. The deli meat was probably the best pizza as the meat gave it good flavor, but it was very oily. Again, crust was good for a thinner pizza. Overall, might be back for the apps and booze, but definitely not for the pizza.

Always great and this new location comes with a bit more je ne sais quoi. Maybe it's that new bar smell or the great bartenders that get you try something new you wish you tried sooner or the spunky staff or the epic cooks. Whatever it is, 11 out of 10 I highly recommend 💪💪💪💯💯💯.

Parking is challenging here in this tiny strip mall with tons of popular places for locals to eat, plus, we already know parking stalls in Hawaii are TINY. We visited on a Friday afternoon shortly before noon. Food was good, we got a pizza that we could custom-request half- and half, so we got a half veggie and half meat pizza and the pizza was not greasy at all. Cost for one fruit punch and one pizza pie was about $31.00 without tip. Great service overall.

We were able to sit outside as the weather was lovely. The appetizers were ordered were tasty- the salad and chicken wings. The two pizzas we ordered were very filling. We had the special which had grape slices. It was refreshing. The boardwalk pizza was also delicious. The crust was thin which is my favorite type of crust.

Edited: ordered take out recently. Got the boardwalk and scampi pies, and fish & chips. I have to admit the boardwalk in a thin crust was delicious. Went here for a quick bite with a few friends, for a Wednesday night around 8pm, it's kind of slow. We were able to get a corner table since it was so open. Atmosphere was nice, you can talk to your friends, while the background noise didn't hinder our conversation. I liked it. Service was on point, friendly, patient and helpful. He didn't rush us to order and explained the menu items. We went for the special, it was basically a supreme, "as told to us". And a few drinks. Sure enough, it looked exactly like a supreme pizza lol. It was thin crust, nice crispy edge, wasn't to doughy and good amount of ingredients. Size feed all three of us. I've gone to this place when it was call jj dolans in chinatown. First time at this location...I would go again...try other items to see what else they have. Still one of the best pizza places in hawaii.
