I recently had the opportunity to try the vegan pizza at Mad Pie, and I was genuinely impressed by the quality and care that went into its preparation. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside yet soft and airy inside—providing an excellent foundation for the toppings. The plant‑based cheese melted smoothly and offered a rich, satisfying flavor without being overwhelming. The selection of vegetables was fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully balanced, creating a combination that felt both hearty and refreshing. What stood out most was the attention to detail; every ingredient tasted intentional, and the overall presentation reflected a commitment to high standards. This was, without question, one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had in Honolulu. I appreciate the effort the team puts into crafting a dish that is welcoming not only to vegans but to anyone who enjoys well‑made, flavorful food. I look forward to returning and trying more of their menu.

I would honestly travel anywhere on the island just to have their pizza, it’s that good 🍕💯. The pepperoni and fungi pizzas were both incredible, amazing flavor in every bite. You can tell they really care about quality and ingredients. the desserts 😮‍💨 … the ube and pistachio cannolis were next level 🤤. Such a perfect way to end the meal 👌🏾. The spot itself is a nice little nook, perfect for a low-key first date type of scene. Nothing too fancy, just good vibes and fantastic pizza. And honestly… if she doesn’t like pizza, she’s probably not the one 😂 Highly recommend this place, must-try 😮‍💨🫶🏾

Stopped at Mad Pie for a slice of pizza today, it's little hard to find since it's located inside the courtyard, and not on the main street, and of course parking in that neighborhood is a challenge! As to the food, I ordered slice of pepperoni pizza the crispy cups of pepperoni on my pizza were very tasty the crust is very thin, and the crust is a bit chewy. Overall, it's a decent NYC style slice but at over $6 bucks per slice I'm not sure I'll repeat. The pizza's really only ⭐⭐⭐ The CANOLI however is really the star of the show at this place and the reason I'm giving them four stars! I don't know if I'd say it's as good as Modern or Mike's pastry in Boston's North end, but it's really damn good!! And at $4.50 I feel like it's priced very fairly and well worth it!!

I LOVE this place. I go specifically for the cannolis but the pizza is also just as amazing. I got the taco supreme pizza and was genuinely shocked at how good it was. The flavors mixed so well together. The crust was perfectly crispy with the soft sourdough inside. Worth every penny.

Been meaning to come to Mad Pie for several weeks now. I was finally in the area and stopped in. Picked up a slice of both the mushroom and peperoni. Then I saw someone eating the caesar salad and added that on too. The meal was great. The undercarriage of the pie was on point. The crust had a nice chew. Tbh, the surprise highlight was the caesar salad. Would recommend.
