So I had gone to Tampa for a day of adventure. We found ourselves in Ybor city looking for something for lunch. We happened across Due Amici and noticed that it was a lot like a pizza joint that I had enjoyed in Saint Augustine on St. George Street. Well, it looks the same, but it is definitely different. The pizza here is amazing. I got the buffalo chicken pizza and to be honest, I think I probably should’ve gotten more. I actually had the buffalo chicken and the lasagna. The buffalo chicken definitely was the better of the two. And I highly recommend it. My kid was with me, and he enjoyed a piece of cheese pizza. He ate the entire thing and loved it. If you were down in the Ybor city area, and looking for a good piece of pizza, you definitely have to stop by this restaurant. They also have an Italian sandwich shop in the back and they have some really cool looking foods there. I definitely will be going back to try some new things. To get there, take the street car into Ybor. Get off a stop too. Walk right over to seventh Avenue and find some delicious eats.

Due Amici is the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in a while. It’s right on the main drag in Ybor City and what a gem of a find. We were a party of eight and they made us some items such as the shrimp and vodka sauce that’s not on the menu. The ravioli was to die for! And you could make several meals off of one salad. Note that they are definitely a shareable size. The Chianti was exceptional and they have a great wine selection. Everyone in the group had a great meal. I’ll definitely go back next time I am in Ybor!

Great place! The evening I was in they were playing Michael Jackson music a tribute to him (I'm guessing). Since having such a huge slice of pizza I've been trying to think about getting back to order a whole pizza and sharing it with co-workers, I need to see if UberEats have them on the app. I had the white pizza and it was delicious. Some friends had pasta, a salad. And everyone said it was delicious. Pricing is what was spent on one slice and a bottle water only. Truly this pizza was delicious so I would be willing to pay $20-$30 for pizza and whatever else I decided to buy at that time. It was worth it to me.

This place has some amazing pie (pizza). The dough is fantastic, soft chew but holds up extremely well. They cook it perfectly, nice char on bottom but doesn't give off any burnt flavors. Toppings were distributed evenly and plentiful. They make their own pasta and dolce (desserts) as well. I tried the Tirmisu which was really good but seemed to be missing something. Great authentic mixture of Mascarpone, fresh ladyfingers, and Cocoa. I didn't get a balance with espresso though. Not 100% it was present in the dish as I didnt notice any saturation or pigmentation change within the ladyfingers. Although there was a dark line of something if I looked at the profile of the dish, I just didnt pick up any espresso flavor.

PHENOMENAL SERVICE! ❤️ We came here tonight for some food and the service we received was beyond any of our expectations. Immediately upon walking in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It truly felt like a family. They even gave us a couple slices of cake while we were waiting for our food and eating. Didi (or maybe Dede)- my apologies for the spelling, was wonderful! We will most definitely be returning! Thank you to the staff for an amazing meal and the service!
