Ordered a large cheese pizza to go and it was 8/10. Sauce was a smidge salty and crust pulled a little bit, but overall very good flavor. Definitely going back. Also noticed the massive slices they were serving up inside. Place has a really cool vide inside and the staff is very friendly.

Got a neopolitan small meat lovers. The sauce grew on me. It's kinda sweet and tied everything together. They should have a pickup window because I had to wait in line while people were ordering/seated to pick up my to go order.

We absolutely love dining in here! It's like stepping back in time to a classy '90s Italian restaurant. The pizza is always amazing and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and cozy, perfect for date nights.

Wow, I don’t even know where to start with this review. Me and one of my employees were driving down the street and we passed Mama’s Pizza on E. Speedway Blvd. We were both hungry and I told my employee what huge single slices of pizza they have. He sounded interested so we both decided to go in. We stood at the counter and placed our order. The girl that was taking our order seemed like she was new because we kept having to repeat everything and she kept calling another girl over to help her key in the information. I ordered a slice of pizza. She asked, “pepperoni?” I said “No, I want whatever type of combo pizza you make, Y’know, with everything.” Then my employee, Brandon asked for a meatball sub. After calling her coworker over a few times, Brandon noticed that the computer screen had something we didn’t order. He leaned into me and said “It shows that she also rang up a Combo Hero sandwich, you didn’t order that did you?” I said to her, “We didn’t order that particular sandwich, he only wants a meatball sub.” She responded “Oh.” So, we sit down and a short time later a young man brings me a slice of pepperoni pizza. I walk it back up to the counter and I explained (NICELY) that I ordered a different type of pizza. The young man was very nice. He responded by apologizing and telling me “I’ll go ahead and make that for you right now, but you can go ahead and keep that slice and I’ll bring you a box to put it in.” When I sat back down, I told Brandon what he said and how nice he was allowing me to keep the slice of pepperoni pizza. I admired the way he went above and beyond. I told Brandon “That’s customer service.” I figured I would take the slice of pepperoni pizza and give it to another employee. When Brandon received his sandwich, he looked at me and said, “They gave me the Combo Hero after all (The sandwich we told her we did not order). Brandon walked up to the counter and explained that he got the wrong sandwich. Then a different gentleman came over and asked (something to the effect), “Okay, let me get this straight, before we make the sandwich, you wanted a meatball sub, is that right?” Brandon responded, “Yes.” I began to explain to that employee what I ordered and asked if the girl was new. I didn’t ask disparagingly. In fact, I didn’t get to finish what I was saying when he cut me off and said, “Listen, we already gave you free pizza. I don’t know what else to say, she told me that she repeated your order.” Wow, where did that come from? I thought. Then, I realized he must think that we’re trying to get a free sandwich as well. That was not the case. As a long-standing business owner in this town, I would never go looking for a free sandwich. I respect the business and I remember Joe Spino‘s very heavy advertising schedule. I too, had a business and we advertised on a lot of the same stations and shared some of the same sales reps back in the day. I still remember the catchphrases of Mama’s Pizza; the long drawn out ending to every commercial: “Now Repeat After Me...Mama's Pizzaaah!!” This is how they treat customers now?? We ended up taking our food and just leaving. I cannot believe how rude he was to us. The girl at the counter was trying, I’ll give her that much. She requested help a few times, not a problem. We were not in a rush. But contrary to the second gentleman’s comment, she DID NOT repeat the order, WE DID. Moreover, it was still entered incorrectly. Again, NOT a problem. The problem occurred when we were made to feel like petty thieves, looking to get something for free. Sadly, I had really talked this place up to my employee before we walked in only to be humiliated when we left. A place I always looked forward to patronizing really ruined the whole inside dining experience.

Had take out. Pizza was made to order as requested. It was ready on time and the quality was delicious. Mama's makes good pizza. First time at this location (usually go to the location on Oracle/McGee). Definitely recommend.
