Haven't had EMPIRE Pizza since I relocated. Its still just as good as I remember it. Ordered a whole pepperoni pie and had to try a slice of their Elote pizza. My favorite part is the sauce, I love that it has a tangy, sweet taste to it. The cheese and crust are also good, you can get a good cheese pull depending on how much you put on it. As you can see the slices are pretty bug and they use a decent amount of topping. You can even make do with the slice and drink combo but recommend a whole pie, its just that good. Thin, nepolitan-like crust with no flops, the outer crust is very chewy and not dry. There's a lot if flavor ti their pizza even with minimal toppings. The Elote Pizza has a unique flavor to it. There's a spice to it from the chilli powder seasoning they use, reminds me of Lucas powder from when I was a kid. The spicy mayo compliments this very well and they don't oversaturate the pizza with it which is nice. The pieces of corn was a nice touch and again they don't overdue it. And there is a lemon/lime zing to it. A really unique flavor. Overall still pleased with everything I purchased and will continue to support their business the more Ibcan visit downtown. BE WARNED, because it is downtown parking is atrocious but it is worth it to stop in and have a slice. It's the best food downtown.

Pizza was okay, but the girl with black hair and glasses had a bad overall attitude. She seemed annoyed and dismissive during checkout and made the interaction uncomfortable for our family. Customer service really affects the overall experience. I also called ahead and was told it would be 25+ minutes for a pizza. The staff didn’t even seem familiar with one of the menu items I asked about, otherwise I would have ordered more. Honestly, it ended up being easier to just go in, and somehow I got a pie pretty quickly anyway. The two girls behind the counter also gave each other a look while we were ordering, which just added to the uncomfortable vibe. Between the confusing service and the attitude at checkout, the experience just wasn’t great. Update owner replied back and was mean as heck. 100% honest review. If you treat all you customers like that… that’s sad. Just a family trying to eat. Bad customer service

Great little place downtown for pizza and drinks. It’s small, so not much room for large parties. Great service too. The pizza is delicious, nice thin crust and the slices are a generous portion. The wings are meaty and a good heat on the sauce.

The absolute best pizza place in Tucson! The elote pizza is absolutely amazing and it’s always delicious. The pizza is far priced especially since they’re bigger slices rather than small ones. They have fair prices and the wait time is pretty good. We like to stop by and get the elote every now and then and it’s by far my favorite one. I recommend this place to everyone I know or meet that recommends pizza or is looking for a new place to try. I will absolutely keep recommending this place. Because it is by far my favorite!

I have visited and ordered pizza from Empire since it opened. I ways loved the pizza and backyard. I live now in the area. I called just ordered and walk over. I was on hold 20 minutes. I couldn't get the time and was spoken to very curly. Last time I ordered online pizza was LATE AND BURNED. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GOING TO HELL I RECOMMEND ZEKE'S THEIR NICER AND JUST AS TASTY AND THEY HAVE GELATO
