Got the hand-tossed cheese pizza. It was good, fairly priced, and exactly what you’d want from a solid pizza spot. Nothing over the top, but it delivers on the basics.

Best pizza in Tucson hands down!!!! My wife and I have NEVER had a bad experience or food from chariots. Both locations are awesome but our favorite is the Alvernon location.

I wish Chariot Pizza on Alvernon was more consistent with their employees. The counter help should be arrested for their lack of clothing. We really don’t want to walk in, see a frumpy scantly clad girl with some kind of an attitude and serious lack of customer service skills to not know how to greet us. In addition to this we never eat in there because the atmosphere is horrible. Now even more so since they painted it dark maroon with no pleasant wall decor - none, junky tables and booths create a weird vibe that makes you feel somewhat creeped out. Why did they paint it that dark drab color? Ugh. Anyway - the pizza tonight was just barely okay, and the salad was not per usual and basically pretty sloppy. We also ordered ahead and was given a 30 minute wait before we drove to pick it up. When we got there we were told it would be another 30 minutes wait. We suggest getting better front counter help who has some cooth and cooks that are more interested in their cooking skills.

We ordered a pie online for pickup. It took about an hour and 15, and wasn't busy when I arrived. I'd be very reluctant to order during a busy time. The pizza was just okay. The crust was under proofed, or something went wrong with the rise. It was extremely dense and chewy. Based off the other reviews and my experience at the chariot on flowing wells I'm guessing something went wrong with my order and this isn't their norm
