Our recent visit to Planet Pizza on Atlantic Avenue was, overall, a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind, transforming a standard meal into a fun, sci-fi getaway. The alien-themed décor paired with a great selection of music, happy hour slushies, and a solid variety of beer and cocktails makes it a standout spot in Virginia Beach. I was particularly impressed by the hospitality of the owner and the staff, who made the environment feel welcoming and vibrant. Regarding the food, there were some definite highlights, but also a few areas that could take the menu to the next level: The Hits: The mini cheese pizza is an absolute winner—it’s spot on in terms of flavor and preparation. I was also quite impressed with the Greek salad, which was exceptionally fresh and a great way to start the meal. Constructive Feedback: Menu Enhancements: It would be a welcome addition to see a grilled chicken topping offered for pizzas. Furthermore, for those looking for gluten-free options, introducing a leavened gluten-free base would be a major upgrade over typical thin alternatives. Topping Balance: On some of the pizzas, the sheer volume of toppings felt a bit overwhelming. A lighter hand here would likely better highlight the quality of the crust and sauce. The Chicken & Sides: The chicken tenders currently arrive with a bit too much batter; a thinner, crispier coating would be a nice improvement. Additionally, moving away from crinkle-cut fries in favor of a standard fresh-cut fry would better match the quality of the rest of the meal. Planet Pizza has a great "vibe" and the foundation of a top-tier local spot. With a few tweaks to the preparation and menu variety, it could easily become a perfect destination for both locals and visitors alike.

Planet Pizza was well air-conditioned, not too crowded, the service was quick and the food was good! The decor was really cool - went here once as a kid and now back as an adult and glad to see its still here! Love that they have the mini pizzas for individual portions. The supreme pizza was crispy with a thin but flavorful crust. For others: Pepsi products for the drinks!

This place is out of this world! I stopped by recently and was immediately hooked by the alien-themed atmosphere. The decor is super creative and creates such a fun, immersive vibe that's different from your run-of-the-mill pizza joint. The real star of the show, though, was the mini pepperoni pizza. Even for a smaller size, it was packed with flavor. The crust had the perfect crunch, and they definitely didn't skimp on the pepperoni. It’s easily one of the best personal-sized pizzas I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for great food and a cool, "intergalactic" setting, Planet Pizza is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Place was very nice and clean. Workers were very helpful and kind, especially Nurilya! I was with a group of people and she took pictures of us. Very sweet and made us feel so comfortable. Our experience was a 10/10. The food was also amazing as well, very worth it!

Great pizza place on 11th street! The place was themed great (aliens everywhere) and food tasted of good quality. You order at the front, and they bring you your food. Staff were super nice and attentive and made us smile.
