I must have went on an extremely busy day which led to a bad night. The cashier was dry and seemed to have an attitude when asked was the pizza fresh. It was my first time there so I didn't know if the pizza was on a display or not. It was sitting under a lamp, and looked old until they reheat it for you. The place was dirty and it seemed the staff was exhausted and were ready to get off. My son enjoyed the pizza though.

In its class of pizza I would likely give this 4 stars. I will say the pizza was good for the value it came at. However not great. The dough had a good chew to it but was far too floppy with little crisp to it. What actually bothered me was the "Italian" sub that they offered. You cannot simply put meats and lettuce between bread with oil on the side and call it an Italian sub. No salt, no pepper, no oregano? Bland. Your pizza showed authentic NY style. Please put a touch of that passion into your sub.

Great little place in downtown Nashville. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza. They were out so they made a fresh pie. OMG, the pizza was piping hot, the crust was hella crunchy and loaded with pepperoni. Best NY style pizza I’ve had outside of NY. The pizza was so good that I had to return the next night bc I couldn’t resist; I had to have more! Highly recommend this place for those who like NY style pizza. 5-stars all day long!

Exactly What It Claims to Be – Real NY Pizza! As someone who knows what real New York style pizza is supposed to taste like, I’m always a little skeptical when a place puts it in their name. But Taste of NY Pizza absolutely nailed it. They didn't disappoint at all. The crust has that perfect, elusive balance—crisp on the bottom, but pliable enough to fold properly without cracking. The sauce is flavorful without being overly sweet, and the cheese-to-sauce ratio is spot on. It’s got that authentic, straight-out-of-the-city quality that is incredibly hard to find elsewhere. If you’re craving a genuine, no-nonsense New York slice, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back.

Sicilian slice with honey was a hit. Open until 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays which was clutch for a late night craving, and the staff warmed it up so I could enjoy it back in my hotel room. Portions are big and the prices are reasonable.
