Some restaurants live up to the hype. Others completely redefine it. Our recent visit to Saint Vito Focacceria in Nashville was exactly that kind of experience. After hearing the Michelin praise surrounding this hidden gem, my wife and I finally had the opportunity to experience it for ourselves — and from the moment we arrived, it was clear this was going to be special. Reservations were seamless, the atmosphere was warm and intentional, and the interior design perfectly reflected the restaurant’s unique character: modern, intimate, and effortlessly stylish. I ordered the pepperoni pizza, and it absolutely delivered. Built on their signature house-made focaccia bread, every bite carried the perfect balance of crisp texture and airy chew. The in-house fresh tomato sauce elevated the pizza entirely, bringing bright, fresh flavor that tasted authentic and handcrafted rather than heavy or overdone. The pepperoni added just the right amount of spice and richness without overpowering the dish. My wife chose the chopped olive salad, and it was equally unforgettable. The Mediterranean-inspired flavors were vibrant, fresh, and layered with complexity — the kind of dish that keeps you reaching for “just one more bite.” What makes Saint Vito exceptional is not just the food, but the experience. Every detail feels curated with purpose, from presentation to flavor to atmosphere. In a city filled with incredible dining options, this establishment stands out as a destination in its own right. If you find yourself in Nashville and appreciate truly thoughtful food craftsmanship, Saint Vito is an absolute must-visit.

With a Friday night concert on the agenda at Nashville’s bluegrass “mecca”, The Station Inn, I was looking for an excellent but casual early dinner in the Gulch neighborhood. And St. Vito Focacceria more than fit the bill! We loved Chef Michael Hanna’s version of Sicilian style pizza, “sfincione”. Think sourdough focaccia with fontina, topped with pecorino and breadcrumbs. We chose a fantastic Pepperoni version with Ezzo Pepperoni Cups and Saffron Honey. Our small plates were all excellent too. We started off with a Focaccia with Oregano, Garlic, Pollen and a side of Ricotta with Pistachio & Parsley. Next up, we loved the Artichokes with Lemon, Olive Oil, and Mint. And don’t miss the fabulous Tiramisu for dessert. We sat at the counter of the stylish, long and narrow spot, and enjoyed watching all the open-kitchen proceedings, and chatting with the warm staff and Chef Hanna himself as well. By the time we were finished our dinner, it was clear why St. Vito earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand award for 2025. Definitely add it to your Nashville Dining “Must Do” List!

We found St Vito from Michelin guide. We went for lunch and it was quiet during the week. Service was friendly and attentive. We loved the house salad and anchovies. The focaccia pizza was gigantic - we enjoyed the spicy tomato. Overall a good experience but I prefer less doughy pizza. Use the InKind app for a discount.

Incredible food. The Caesar dressing was so punchy, fresh, and light without being sour, the focaccia was a perfect balance of soft and airy on the inside, with a beautifully firm crust. The pizza sauce was to die for, it had such a great texture and the flavor was perfect, not too sweet, and not too acidic. The Panna cotta had some really rich and bitter nibs on the top that paired perfectly with the rich and creamy base. I highly recommend making a reservation, this is an intimate space with a small kitchen. They are also happy to accommodate guests with allergies. The kitchen and front of house staff did a phenomenal job.

Service was quick and easy, small menu but the focaccia bread is amazing. On its own it’s soft and homemade and you can definitely taste that. We tried it with ricotta and goat cheese, yummy! Plus drinks are good, Atmosphere was pretty too
