Delicious pizza and cinnamon rolls, but the ordering process and service need improvement. We recently visited Slim & Husky’s for a late lunch, and the food was good. We tried one of their signature pizzas and also used their "build your own" option. Both were delicious, the crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce was flavorful, and all the toppings were fresh. We also made sure to try their famous cinnamon roll, which was nice, freshly baked. However, we feel the service and ordering process have room for improvement. Since it was our first time, we found the experience a bit confusing. When we arrived mid-afternoon, there was no clear signage indicating how to order or where to start. We stood there for a moment unsure if we should sit down or head to the counter, and the staff didn't offer any guidance. Once we approached the prep counter to ask, we realized that’s where you order, but the printed menus were located in a completely different area near the register. It would be much more helpful to have menus available right at the start of the line, especially since the screens behind the counter can be hard to read from a distance. Additionally, there is a glass partition that makes it difficult to hear the staff, and the music volume is quite high, which made the "build your own" ordering process a bit of a struggle since we had to lean over and repeat ourselves several times. To be clear, the staff wasn't rude, they were professional, but the service felt a bit "flat." A warmer greeting or a more friendly demeanor would go a long way in making first-time visitors feel welcome. Despite the confusion in the process, the place clearly has a following, the restaurant got very busy shortly after we arrived, and it’s easy to see why because the food is definitely worth it. We hope they consider smoothing out the ordering flow and signage, as it would make the experience much better.

Food came out fast and fresh. Food was fire! Wings were good sized, seasoned and flavorful. Cajun shrimp and sausage pizza 10/10. Customer service 10/10 owner came out and checked on us, cleaned up our trash. Cream soda on tap. Just all around good vibes and food. Yall already know, pull up!

📍Slim & Husky's Pizza-- Nashville, TN @slimandhuskys I had the pleasure of trying S&H Pizza TWICE while being in Nashville. I had the, "Nothing But a V Thang" at the store location and at the Airport before coming back home to Dallas. It's made with the Classic red sauce, vegan cheese, fresh spinach, vegan pepperoni, vegan sausage, mushrooms and red onions. The crust was seasoned to perfection! I'm usually not a fan of thicker crust. But, it was honestly amazing! I also tried the Ms. Berry Cinnamon Roll which was with Blueberry 🫐 sauce and fresh lemon glaze! 😋 Oh & did I mention S&H is #Blackowned as well? Food was absolutely delicious, nothing disappointed. We got the Cajun shrimp pizza, the cee no green, and the triple sauce mafia wings. Definitely a must stop in Nashville

The Rony, Roni, Rone husky pizza was excellent. Had a nice spicy kick to it. Also, had some great service and free parking validation available. Sharona was nice and provided my friends and I some nice recommendations while we visited from out of town.
