Danielle Mormol 3 months agoYes, yes, yes to all of the above! I had such a great experience at Osteria Pizzeria on Saturday night. I made a reservation a few weeks in advance because I had tried to go on a weekend before and it was completely booked. I definitely recommend making a reservation. We arrived at 6:30 for ours, and there was a reserved sign waiting on our table. We were seated right away. Everything on the menu looked amazing. I ordered the White Lotus cocktail with Pallini Limoncello, Licor 43, sugar syrup, lemon, and cream. It was so light and easy to drink -- absolutely delicious. My friend ordered a mocktail and didn't love hers, but this review is about what I liked. For starters, we got the Peppers and Oil with marinated peppers, garlic, chili flakes, and house-made focaccia. The focaccia might have been the best part of the whole meal. It was so good that I would honestly eat it on its own. The peppers and oil were excellent as well. We also split a Caesar salad, and I'm glad we did because the salads are huge. It was fresh and really flavorful. For pizza, I highly recommend the Numero Uno with pepperoni, ricotta, banana peppers, hot honey, shredded mozzarella, and marinara. Everything I ordered was fantastic, and I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. My friend ordered the Vegetariana with artichoke, mushroom, spinach, red onion, fresh mozzarella, and house pesto, and she really enjoyed it as well. She did order tiramisu for dessert but didn't love it because it didn't have much coffee flavor. Again, this review is about my experience, so I'm still giving it five stars. The entire restaurant is set up so cute -- very modern, stylish, and such a great atmosphere for a night out. I'll definitely be back!
Sinthu Newell a month agoDevin served us and he is the 🐐. We were welcomed so warmly by Audrey who was able to get us a perfect table for me, my Amma (mom) and 6 year old even though we didn’t have reservations. Pizza was a dream and the BEST we’ve had in a minute. Devin even made my girl the perfect 4eva 🌺 We will DEF be back
Mz. Jones a month agoWOW! The food here is too good, incredibly delicious! I had such a great lunch experience here. Greg you rock! Now let’s get into the food…. Started with the Hungarian stuffed peppers- ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! So pleased I ordered it because I wasn’t going to at first. First course was a Cesear salad- dressing was prefect. Wish I had to room to finish but couldn’t. Now for the mail course the I ordered the Numero Uno pizza- soooooo delicious! Might have been one of the best pizza I’ve ate lately. Dessert choices were limited so I had to skip that. Service was fantastic thanks again Greg! Food was delicious thanks chef. Now this is where I say why I gave you 4 stars instead of 5. Upon arrival I asked for Aqua Pana bottle water and a cocktail. Only received the cocktail. I had to ask again on 3 separate occasions and 3 different people before actually receiving it. Secondly the cocktails here are all premade/prebatched cocktails. I absolutely hate that, drinks always taste bad in my opinion. I tried a few different cocktails here hoping I would be wrong but NOPE. I would STRONGLY recommend ordering a drink that’s not on menu so it’s made to order, wine, or beer only. Thanks so much!
Miles Q. Montegut 8 months agoIt was a Wednesday night, never been to DT Columbus and I was in the mood for Italian so I chose this place, in Old Town. The reviews weren’t great but it looked like a great menu, pics were good. I sat at the bar, service was prompt. It has a great neighborhood Italian atmosphere. Started off with a great old fashioned. I chose the Warm Olives for an appetizer. They were well bathed in seasoned olive oil and garlic, with a large serving of focaccia. DELICIOUS! For the entree I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese with meatball. WOW! If I’m in Columbus again, definitely going back.
Michael Chan a month agoReally great pizza (numero uno was my favorite), delicious meat balls, and the Hungarian stuff peppers were amazing. Nice cocktails and beers on draft. Loved our experience. Highly recommended! Update- we’ve now been here two more times and each time has been better than the last. The antipasti dish we had tonight was so tasty. Very different from other antipasti dishes I’ve had. Definitely worth trying. The vegi pizza was phenomenal. The gnocchi pasta was so good. High recommendations for Osteria Pizzeria!
