I ordered the ultimate pepperoni pizza. This first pic is what I expected (I added mushrooms). The other pics are what I got. So much pepperoni piled on that it was only recognizable as a pizza by the bits of visible crust. There was so much grease it *literally* poured from the corner of the box all over my clothing and countertop. After removing a good bit of the pepperoni the pizza was so salty and greasy from the remains of the mountain of cooked pepperoni that it wasn’t edible. I’ve worked in pizza kitchens. Anyone that sent this out on my watch would have been sent home. The only conclusion I can come to after seeing this is that they have no respect for their customers or the money they spend. When I called the store, they tried to tell me that’s just how it is, and it was my fault for ordering that item. Luckily the Slice app secured my refund.

As someone who loves buffalo chicken pizza, this one just didn’t hit the mark for me. For a small pizza that’s over $20, I expected something a lot more elevated, but the chicken tasted very similar to what you’d get from bigger chains like Domino’s or Pizza Hut, which was disappointing. In my opinion, the chicken should be marinated in buffalo sauce to really bring out that bold flavor not just taken out of the freezer and added on. The ranch also wasn’t my favorite, it reminded me a lot of Ken’s ranch and didn’t really stand out. That said, the cheese pizza was actually really good—I loved the sauce. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was super friendly, which I really appreciated. Overall, I just expected a bit more for the price.

As a native New Yorker, I give Vic's Pizzeria my seal of approval! Pizza by the slice? Yes! Good ratio of sauce to cheese? Yes! Good, thin, crispy crust with just the right balance of chew and flavor? Yes! A super sweet front end and kitchen staff give it just enough NC touch to make me wish they had another location a little closer to home. Oh, and... the absolute best gluten free pizza I've ever enjoyed!

Happened upon this place by chance and was looking for a good pizza. I told the guy I wanted it a little crispy on the crust and no flop. This may not be the best pizza in all of Raleigh because I haven't tried them all but, it is in the discussion. This pizza has a good flavor, just the right amount of sauce with a tiny little sweet bite. The ingredients are fresh, quality and not frozen pre chopped food service items. This is not only good if you happen to be in the downtown area but worth a half hour drive or so just go go try it out.

They have mastered the art of consistency! Shout-out to Vics for always serving fresh and authentic Italian pizza. Every time I order here they never disappoint! Their workers are so attentive and detailed oriented. Great place to eat or order to go!
