crunchy lettuce, juicy tomatoes, the chicken was seasoned like somebody actually cared, and the feta pulled it all together. Portion felt like a real meal, not a side dish pretending to be dinner. If you want something tasty that doesn’t make you feel guilty after, this spot is worth the stop. Also, don’t get me started on the pizza! It’s chef kiss, and Halal!

My teenage sons and I just ate here and had the tandoori chicken pizza. It smelled fantastic and tasted even better. The crust was really tender and not at all chewy. I've never had such a thing before, but I definitely would get it again! Highly recommend it. The people working there were very friendly, and it's a tiny little place. They have three little tables and it definitely seems like more of a takeout place, but you can eat there like we did. We will be back!

I originally gave Avent Ferry Pizza 3 stars because while I liked the food, consistency was the biggest issue. One visit would be fantastic, and the next would feel a little off. That inconsistency kept me from rating it higher. But credit where it’s due: the last 3–4 times I’ve ordered from here, the pizza has been consistently good, and that makes a huge difference. Enough so that I wanted to come back and update my review and add another star. Is this the best pizza I’ve ever had? No. But it has absolutely become my go-to “down the street” local pizza spot when I don’t feel like driving across Raleigh or paying crazy DoorDash prices, and honestly, there’s a lot of value in that. The pizza itself is unique. The dough has a slightly sweet, buttery flavor, almost reminiscent of pretzel dough, and the sauce leans herb-forward and a little sweet as well. It’s different from your standard chain pizza in a good way. I also really appreciate that they seem to make a lot in-house, from the dough to the sauce, and I’m pretty sure some of the herbs are grown right outside the restaurant. Bonus points for being Halal and for not charging ridiculous prices like a lot of places do now. And yes… I’m still wondering if the cinnamon rolls actually exist. Overall, Avent Ferry Pizza has earned another star from me simply because consistency matters, and lately, they’ve been delivering.

We were not expecting that we would end up trying one of the best pizzas we have ever had. Also we were just thankful that this was halal, so going in we had low expectations, but damn were were blown away! The bread/crust is good, its fluffy and savoury and sweet, almost like a garlic bread. The Sauce/Marinara is delicious, it is on the sweeter side but not so sweet that you cant taste the savoury toppings. We ordered- 1.Pepperoni pizza- 9/10, I do wish it had more Pepperoni on it for the price point. 2. Barbecue chicken pizza- 10/10, I dont know if it is an official menu item, but we asked for it and they made it and it was yummy!, so I guess you can ask for any type of flavour you want so that is great! 3. Chicken wings- (20pc) it came with a side of fries, 10/10, we got half garlic parm and half teriyaki sauce. Both of the flavours tasted very well and the chicken was fried beautifully, it was so crunchy even after being tossed in the sauce and the 10 min car ride home. Anyone visiting Raleigh or living there must try this place! 💯

Tried this place on a whim and I’m glad I did. The pizza was fresh, hot, and clearly made with care. The crust was perfectly cooked and the toppings were generous without being overwhelming. You can tell this is a local spot that actually cares about quality. The staff was friendly and the whole experience felt easy and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for good pizza.
