Old Chicago is one of those places I keep coming back to, mostly because the Italian nachos are seriously the best. I’ve been eating them for most of my adult life, and they still hit every time. I get mine with a less spicy sauce, so definitely ask if you’re spice sensitive too. The pizza is another favorite because it’s super customizable, which is perfect if you’re picky about toppings or everyone wants something different. Service has always been good, the restaurant is clean, and the vibe is easygoing with games usually on. Plenty of drink options too, and the prices feel fair for how much food you get. Consistently delicious and always an easy pick.

Let me first say, Lindsey, the GM of this fine establishment is amazing, kind, genuine, and generous. The prices are fair. The food is exquisite and the people make you feel like you just got home and they’re very happy to see you. This is a welcoming environment. Outstanding place to eat I wouldn’t recommend another pizza joint in 100 miles, or, hell a 1000 miles!

Honest Review, The food is PHENOMENAL!! I loved the food so much, it was hot, fresh, delicious, and the amount of food!!!! I was amazed by how good the dood is at this place. Now, my only downfall was with the employees here. The waitress that served us, unfortunately wasnt the greatest experience. He was NOT writing down what we were ordering (keep in mind we were a group of 5) and that made me a bit concerned, and as I had felt, whenever the food was done he forgot to put in a few plates that we had ordered, which makes sense because he didnt write anything down, and we had to wait longer to get all of our food. Also, it was my uncles birthday, and I had spoken to the waitress about bringing my uncle a birthday dessert, he waited for the dessert for about 30 minutes and never received the dessert. So we didnt ask for it again. (after confirming the order) Took super long time to bring us the check, and after that he took about 20 more minutes to charge us for our food, I had to step to the main entrance and grab someone else’s attention so we could pay and leave. They were understaffed, and the people they had there were not very friendly. Only the host was, she was very kind and attentive. Besides that, the food was so good that I will be going back to eat there. Hopefully the staff improves 😅

Well well. Railroad enforcement time !! Nice greeting at the door. Very friendly. Kelsey was our waitress. I had lots of questions and she was able to answer everything. She recommended my pizza with crust and it was delicious. Seriously. It was very good. The fried pickles were amazing. The wings boner in were good. The house made ranch was very good. I will return. Keep up the good work!!!!

I recently had the opportunity to visit this Old Chicago location for the first time, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant was notably clean and well-maintained, which created a welcoming environment for my meal. I was particularly impressed by the service; the server was truly excellent and attentive, though I unfortunately cannot recall his name. While the visit was positive, the calzone I ordered did come out a little more overdone than I would prefer. However, the rest of the experience was fine, and the high quality of service certainly made up for the minor issue with the food. I must admit that I am still quite sad to see that the Liberty location has closed, as I always enjoyed the food there and never had any issues regarding my orders at that site. Since the Liberty closure, this North Kansas City location is now the closest one to my home. Despite the small hiccup with my meal, it is a solid option for a local dinner, and I would certainly come back.
