I’m a big supporter of local businesses and spots like Minsky’s River Market that are built for game days, so I went in with realistic expectations for a chain sports bar. While the beer was flat and the fries were only semi-warm, making the overall experience feel a bit half-hearted, the customer service was genuinely the highlight—and in my book, service makes up 50% or more of what matters in a bar like this. The team was attentive, friendly, and when I mentioned the issues, they received the feedback well and made changes right away. That kind of responsiveness gives me real hope for the place. With the World Cup coming to Kansas City soon and bringing fans from all over the world, this is the perfect time to dial in the basics (cold beer, hot fries) so Minsky’s can be a proud showcase for our city. The foundation is there—great location and strong service—now it’s about making the whole visit match that energy. I’ll definitely be back because I want to see them succeed. This is meant as an encouraging nudge, not a complaint.

My friend & I had order the medium size white cheddar mac-n-chz pizza. A medium size specialty pizza gave us about 4-5 slices per person. It was a decent price for the specialty pizza. It tasted amazing, but surprisingly when we bite into the pizza, it was luke warm. I don't know if it was the new server being slow or the oven wasn't working properly 🤷‍♀️ But we ate the pizza anyways because we were hungry & didnt want to wait for another pizza.

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon after a tournament at the convention center. We were a party of about 35 parents and children. We took over the entire 2nd floor. I'm sure we overwhelmed the staff. But they staff did a good job of working with us. My wife and I ordered the Chicago Style pizza it was good, but it would have been perfect if it had been hotter. It came to the table warm but still good. Our parents ordered a variety of plates and pizzas. The beer was cold and the food was good, and the location was perfect. I'm sure that if we were a smaller party, our experience would have been 5 stars. This is a super sports bar. The Dad's on the team loved it.

Great BBQ pizza, chicken bacon club salad and salmon salad. Great place to watch sports. Loads of tvs and great bar.

It wasn't bad at all. It's just that the hype that proceeded it to live up to that hype. The qings were decent but the buffalo sauce carried it. The mini all Meat Pizza was decent. To be honest the food was rushed and a bit undercooked for me. Not raw at all. Just not well done like I want it. Service was great.
