I am a regular visitor to the Horseshoe Casino. I visit the Piezetta Restaurant very often. On April 17, 2026 I visited the restaurant to get my usual Pepperoni pizza. On approach of the restaurant I noticed the counter where the condiments were displayed. The counter was a mess! I made the cashier, who was very nasty and disrespectful, aware that the counter was very messy. She ignored my request stating “this is not my house, I don’t have to keep it clean. At that time I requested for the manager to speak with me. I made my observation known to him. His attitude matched the cashier’s who stated “ we clean when we close, if we get a chance, when we are not busy we will clean”. I let him know that i was not accepting my pizza unless the mess was cleaned from the counter. I also said, while you are engaging with me you can have your employee clean the countertop. He ignored my statement, matching the attitude of the cashier. He asked if I wanted a refund. I stated, unless the mess is cleaned up, no. I made him aware “as manager that the appearance of the restaurant should be a priority”. I am submitting pictures which include the feet of the cashier without closed in shoes, which are not in compliance with OSHA, industry standards and Maryland compliance. The floor was riddled with trash. The trash containers were at their maximum. I have contacted the Health Dept. to investigate for compliance. If the store is this visible this dirty in front, I wonder if there is full compliance in the back. Again, I was totally shocked by the attitude of the manager as he also seemed to co-sign the negative behavior, disrespect and nasty attitude of the cashier. I will not patronize the establishment again.

I stopped by on a Monday and it was the quietest I’ve ever seen the casino. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sub, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The flavors were a bit underwhelming, and I’m not sure I’d choose it again. My mother had the Chicken Alfredo, and hers was much better. Next time, I’ll be ordering the Alfredo instead. Overall, calm atmosphere and decent service, but the food was a mixed experience.

This pizza spot has been here since this casino opened and it always hits it’s the perfect late nite snack lunch or dinner 😋🍕

We were a little skeptical about a pizza inside the casino late night. There was a line for a reason. That was a very tasty pizza.

Ended up here after there was nothing else open to eat inside the Horseshoe. Staff was attentive, and the portion I got for the meatballs and ricotta with pasta was MASSIVE! Food is run of the mill, nothing special but it definitely isn’t bad at all.
