I rarely leave negative reviews because I order from here often and have never had a bad experience—until today. I ordered a pizza and when I opened the box, one entire side of the pizza was completely soaked in oil. It was literally wet. I had to throw half of it away. Spending $25 for something I couldn’t even eat was extremely frustrating. What made the situation worse was the response when I called. The gentleman who answered was very nonchalant and acted as if the issue was not a big deal. I was not looking for an argument—just some acknowledgement that the order was not acceptable. As a regular customer who has never complained before, the lack of concern was disappointing. I hope the management takes customer feedback more seriously going forward.

Wow, I barely come to the city and my boyfriend convinced me we try a new place, I saw Maria D’S and thought it looked nice, such nice people, and the food was great, I got a huge slice of cheese pizza for $3 and some change, I would recommend and come back again! My boyfriend got a cheesesteak and loved it as well! 10/10 recommend!

That cheesecake on pita is one of the best things I’ve ever had. I’m somewhat of a food connoisseur and I love everything about that. I will never go back to that sub roll again. It was so tasty so delicious. I was a little stingy with the onions, but that’s OK. It was packed with meat and I loved every single bite. I will definitely be ordering again and telling everybody I know.! and I’m grateful y’all don’t serve it with fries cause I definitely didn’t have room for anything else! I’ll be sure to get a picture next time

I came here with my bf who’s from Baltimore and he raved about this place. I just moved to Baltimore 3 months ago and he’s been trying to get me here since 2024. And I must say I was disappointed with the food. We paid $15.95 for 10 wings that’s price on the menu for $12.99 we ordered the Honey Old Bay wings and was told they charge $2 extra for the honey but the favor is Honey Old Bay (so I’m confused) once we got the wings the honey was on the bottom and the old bay was only on top of the wings the wings it’s self was unseasoned my sweet potato fries was mushy and brunt. The half and half was good and I like that you can sit outside. But I won’t Order from here again 6 outta 10

Maria D's is a sub shop. The standard of judgment for sub shops is different than the standard for restaurants. Maria D's is clean and neat. You can see right into the kitchen. It's clean and neat. Our hot food was prepared promptly. My eggplant Parmesan sub was delicious. There's street parking outside. Spaces are difficult to find. The shop is wheelchair accessible.
