My experience at Il Pizzaiolo was absolutely outstanding, and a huge part of that was because of Rafael. From the moment we walked in, he took the time to warmly welcome us and make us feel completely at home. He patiently explained the menu, answered all of our questions, and made excellent recommendations that were spot on. The food was incredible, and combined with the atmosphere of the restaurant, I genuinely felt like I had been transported to Naples, Italy. Rafael continuously checked on us throughout our meal to make sure everything was perfect and that we were enjoying ourselves. He even surprised us with complimentary coffee and espresso, which was a wonderful touch that made the experience even more memorable. What impressed me most was that after leaving, my sister and her boyfriend unexpectedly arrived in Miami and wanted authentic Italian food. Without hesitation, the first place that came to mind was Il Pizzaiolo. We returned later that same day, and to our delight, Rafael was still there. We specifically asked for him to take care of us again, and the excitement and hospitality started all over. He was genuinely happy to see us return and took great care of my family as well. It’s rare that I eat at the same restaurant twice in one day, but that’s exactly what happened. Two meals, two incredible experiences, and one exceptional server who made us feel like family. Rafael’s professionalism, attention to detail, hospitality, and passion for what he does turned a great meal into a memorable experience. We will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend asking for Rafael when you visit.

Im here from NY. I come every year This is by far the best Italian food in south beach. Rafaele was our server and he made the experience 1000% better. From explaining the dishes to differences in the pizza, I was able to make the right choices. He made me feel as if I was in Italy. I’ve learned so much about Napoli from him. He is definitely as asset to the establishment. I will be back and hopefully he will be here to make the experience even better.

A charming Italian restaurant that instantly transported us back to Sorrento. The atmosphere, decor, and cozy ambiance felt very authentic and reminded us of our time in Italy. The pizza was outstanding — true Neapolitan-style pizza made according to traditional recipes. The Italian side dishes and desserts were also delicious. The service was excellent, and the entire experience was warm, relaxing, and enjoyable. If you want to feel a little piece of Italy, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Went here to celebrate me and my wife’s 15 year anniversary and they made sure it would be remembered forever. If you don’t know your Italian food they will educate you and enhance your experience so much you will hold every Italian place their amazing taste! The people make up the food too sharing the room with them definitely will make you return for good company!! Ravfele definitely have now on the west coast. See yall again soon

The arancini drew me in. Ended up getting the Tris de Frittura which is the ultimate trifecta of fried appetizers including the arancini!! The Cacio de Pepe looks like a small portion but it’s SO indulgent and flavorful that makes it the perfect size. Topped it off with the table side assembled tiramisu which had me on the brink of tears. Raffaelo was my server and was very attentive and friendly. Hope to come back again.
