Was refreshing to have a slightly deeper crust pizza here. A meltingly good portion of cheese and toppings means you get a real mouthful. You wont leave hungry thats for sure. Certainly when you wash it down with a naughty little (two or three) goose island IPAs. Can also confirm it’s a great dinner before heading out to a gig.

Everyone else’s food looked good, but everything I ordered was disappointing and wasn’t as expected from the menu. Artichoke dip has the consistency of an over baked casserole, and the pizza I got had no sauce (menu didn’t say sauce, but I feel like the default assumption is sauce and specify otherwise?) it was also very hot (AC may have been broken, but it was 90 outside and we were sweating inside.) definitely didn’t feel like my money was well spent :/

I ordered a surprise bag from Lupos on the 24th and unfortunately they had run out when I went to pick it up. However the manager was incredibly kind and offered for me to come back the next day (Christmas!) and get a freshly made pizza of my choice for free. The margherita was delicious and the customer care was greatly appreciated. I would definitely come back and would love to eat in the restaurant to get the full dining experience (I loved the ambience and decorations)

I was overall impressed by the food here. The caprese salad was delicious and gave generous portions of tomato and cheese. The prosciutto and arugula pizza was also amazing, it was prepared with this sharp cheese and balsamic that tied the whole thing together perfectly. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and only complaint was that the marina sauce for that was a bit bland. Drinks and service were also great.

Great ambiance for a random lunch day and the service is professional while being friendly. Ordered the polpette pizza and while it was tasty, the sausage was lackluster. Next time I’ll try something new or ask to sub the sausage for a different option. For dessert was their zepolle ripiena and it was delicious. Definitely a place to visit next time you’re in DC!
