J’s Pizza has been a staple dinner spot for me whenever I want a quick and delicious bite from slices to pies to share with my friends or family. The food is always amazing, and the experience is even better thanks to Hector. His customer service is top-notch, he’s always friendly, welcoming, and makes every visit enjoyable. Great food and great people keep me coming back!

Good NY style pizza spot serving up whole pies and by the slice options. The dough on slices I ordered were softer than I prefer and the slice could not be raised with one hand, if that matters to you for an NY slice test.

Super affordable local pizza. Ny style with a crispy crust, delicious! I was walking by and decided to grab a couple slices. It cost 5$ for a good sized slice of pepperoni and was ready in about 5 minutes.

I've been going here since it opened and had the worst experience last night. I ordered two slices, knots, and a couple pepperonis for my dog since I didn't recognize the guys working that night, the usual ladies always give my dog some. After my order I noticed the guy "Pablo" wasn't doing anything and just stood there. About 7 to 8 minutes ago by and the guy cooking in the back asked him about my order and Pablo told him they were slices. The other guy pointed to the rack with the slices and then Pablo asked me if I wanted my slices now? I calmly replied of course since I've never been asked that before. He got very defensive raised his voice and said there's no need to be hostile I was just asking. I was about to explain that I'm standing at the to-go window with my dog of course I want it right away but that would have only escalated it. So instead I calmly told him I wasn't trying to be rude just answering your question. I guess he didn't like that since his response was " well how about I don't give you your pepperonis for the dog then" I was going to ask him what his problem was but instead of escalating it I simply told him you do whatever makes you feel better. He then proceeded to put my slices in the oven 10 minutes after my order and didn't give me any pepperonis for my dog. Once he handed me my food I thanked him and said have a good night, he completely ignored me and then I asked what his name was and he said Pablo and gave me a dirty look. This guy has a horrible attitude, obviously doesn't understand customer service or hasnt been trained. I hope this was a one-time thing because every worker there knows me and my dog I've always been respectful, tip well and get along with everyone. I'm just glad I handled it the way I did because I'm usually one that speaks his mind, but I can tell that things would have only gotten worse with this guy. Definitely debating on returning after that. I order a ton of pies from there for both my business and family but will be taking a break from Famous J's and sharing my experience with the neighborhood since I'm on the five Points committee.

A great experience all around. I ordered a ton of food via ezCater and it came out super timely. Our group wanted to get drinks at Stanley’s Beer Hall and they even delivered it across the marketplace right to us and we ate it there. The pizza was great as well!
