Visited Tony’s Pizza Napoletana and had a mixed experience. The garlic bread was very good and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. We also ordered the La Regina pizza. While it wasn’t my favorite choice and I wouldn’t order it again, the pizza was huge and could easily feed 5-6 people. The outdoor tables along the street created a fun atmosphere, and the servers were friendly and attentive. We waited about 20 minutes, which wasn’t too bad considering how busy the place was. The biggest downside was parking. Finding a spot in the area was a nightmare, so plan accordingly. Overall, a good experience with great service and atmosphere, even though the pizza choice didn’t quite work for me.

Tony's is worth the wait. We visited on a packed Sunday afternoon and spent quite a while on the waitlist, but once we sat down and tasted the pizza, we understood why the place was so busy. We ordered the Royal Margherita, the Honey Pie with vegan pepperoni, and a classic cheese pizza. Our five-year-old ate an entire pizza by himself (a first!), and our daughter surprised us by loving the more adventurous pies even more than the cheese. The pizzas were exceptional, the atmosphere was lively, and unlike some heavily hyped restaurants, Tony's absolutely delivers. Coming from New York, where great pizza is everywhere, I'm usually skeptical of places that get this much hype—and Tony's more than lived up to it. We'll definitely be back.

Yeah, its that good. Have your pizza anu way you like it. Thin and crispy, deep and chewy etc. They even tell you how to pair the wine. Do yourself a favor and go on a Wednesday afternoon or you're going to be waiting a really long time. Say hi to Gino, he's new and did a great job on his first day!

I can see why they’ve won so many awards, lives up to the hype for sure. I gotta go back and try some other pizza styles, they had like 8+ styles to choose from. I will be back to try the New York style and see how it stacks up against one of my favorite New York spots like Lucalis. The chew and char on the crust were the perfect amount. Super light and fresh tasting, you don’t leave feeling sluggish or like you ate too much oil. Great staff too, super friendly and fun people.

We checked in 25 mins before the stated wait time. We made it back to the hostess, and she got us to sit directly at the front of the bar with a nice view of people in line for the bathroom. 😆 Service was lacking at the first 15 mins because that’s how long it took for the waiter to take our order, but it was busy so we just ordered it all at once. Appetizer & 2 pizzas. Yes they’re big so just order one for a party smaller than 4. Mario the waiter was great, and he brought everything promptly and politely to the table. Fun environment, and great music. Just prepare to be in line for the bathroom during peak hours since there’s only 2 bathrooms. Fun time during North Beach Festival!
