Visited pretty late so wasn’t expecting sit down room, and the place is nicely tucked away a few steps from your main Hayes valley stops. Super tiny tables inside and outside, so if you have a party of 3+ you’re better off ordering to-go. Got the capricciosa and it was nicely sized for a personal pizza. Given I did take it home to eat, the temp didn’t bother me I still had the entirety in one sitting and it didn’t hit too heavy or leave me still hungry. Definitely would come again to try other specials

This is a charming, authentic Italian pizza restaurant. The pizza itself is fantastic: the crust is flavorful and delightfully chewy and the toppings are great. I had the pizza cheese omg and it is more than just a cheese pizza. You can taste each of the three cheeses and they are delicious. My sister had the pizza mortadella, a more complex dish, and it was amazing. We had a flourless chocolate hazelnut cake for dessert - worth the calories! The decor is lovely: bright, modern and with lovely touches like a plate made of slate stone for the dessert, wallpaper with a pattern of olive trees, hanging lights, silverware that is heavy and pleasant to hold. The owner chose an open kitchen style, so you can see the pizza oven.

GREAT pizza! Nice sauce, just the right amount of cheese, lovely crust, fresh basil… and at a price so low it seems like a mistake. We will absolutely be back!

Had to try a neopolitan style pizza while in SF, and came across this hidden gem! The inside is quaint with only a few tables, but the staff were all lovely. I got a margherita pizza to go. It was soft, puffy and chewy. It was probably the freshest pizza I’ve ever had. I wish there was a tad more flavor to it, and more basil would’ve been great. It was very solid but missing that wow factor. If I come back I would definitely get a specialty pie! Still a great spot to hit.

We grabbed the wallet Margherita pizzas to take away and eat on the green, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff inside were incredibly friendly, chatty, and welcoming. The restaurant itself is really clean and nice on the inside, with a couple of tables set up outside if you prefer to sit outdoors. It’s also great to see they have an accessible doorway for wheelchair users. They had quite a few orders on the go, so there was a short wait for the food, but it didn’t take long at all and was well worth it. Highly recommend!
