The service was excellent — everyone was warm and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. We started with the burrata salad with basil oil, and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh, light, and full of flavor. Then we ordered the prosciutto pizza, and it did not disappoint. The crust was perfect, and the flavors were balanced and very tasty. Overall, a great spot in Little Italy. I would definitely recommend it.

If you're looking for a real taste of Italy in San Diego’s Little Italy, you have to check this place out. The appetizers were amazing and honestly made me feel like I was back in Italy. The pizzas are also great—you can really tell they use high-quality dough and fresh ingredients. Mine was a little bit charred on the bottom, but the overall flavor and quality were still excellent. The service was also really good, and having an Italian waiter made the whole experience feel even more authentic. Definitely a solid spot for a great meal.

Good happy hour deal. Food is not special but hits the spot for good pizza and snacks. The pizza is the best deal on happy hour as other items were small.

I am searching the best piazza Margherita in San Diego. I went to Izola because many times I have been passing by and watching peoples plates and decided to try for myself. 1. Pizza dough was good 2. When I was taking the slice the tomato sauce and the cheese were going down which is not a good sign, but was not dripping down as in many other places. I guess it needed to be backed a few more seconds. 3. The mozzarella was good 4. Tomato sauce was good 5. Price was reasonable 6. Location of the restaurant is perfect 7. Service was great Overall I do recommend it would be back.

Great find in Little Italy. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were exactly what we needed after a long day of walking around a conference. Very relaxing and service was warm and friendly. As for the food, everything we had was wonderful. Our favorites were the brussel sprouts starter and gluten-free gnocchi. Neither of us have issues with gluten at all but it sounded great so we ordered it. It did not disappoint. Their family makes wine so we chose a bottle from their winery. Perfect compliment to our meal. If you are visiting downtown San Diego, skip the gaslamp district and head to Isola Pizza Bar in Little Italy. It is worth the walk/uber ride!
