Authentic Italian pizza that reminds me of Napoletana pizza with a thin soft center and airy blistered delicious crust. We tried the Calabrese and Mortadella, both really really good. Table oil was delicious and they weren’t kidding about the spicy oil. Tasty but a little goes a long way. There was a birthday celebration at the table next to us and they graciously shared cake with everyone who was dining in. What a treat! The friendliest, sweetest staff and chef who came to our table to check in with us.

If I could rate this place 6 stars I would. It is so refreshing having a true Italian pizza instead of the American style that floods every corner. Taste, quality, price and service are all exemplary. Tons of menu options, we ordered 3 pizzas so we could get a good sample and it was hard to chose a favorite. Do yourself a favor and give this pizza a try and you will not be disappointed.

It’s “Apulian style” pizza. I would describe it as: “New York style” cross “Neapolitan style”. The tomato sauce and cheese very light like Neapolitan. The bottom and crust have some nice undercarriage like New York style. It’s a great combination. Also with the garlic olive oil and rosemary oil, super tasty.

Pizza was pretty good. I tried the Calabrese with nduja (spicy sausage) on it. The pizza was crisp and had structural integrity--not floppy. That's a plus. The crust was more on the crunchy, dry side for me. I like when it's soft and bubbly. This one was almost close to an Italian dry bread stick in texture, like a baked cracker. Lots of sauce, though. And the cheese tastes fresh and milky. A decent pizza. The ambience is sterile. Not uncomfortable but not cozy either. They removed the bar seats the previous owner had. Now, an individual diner takes up a whole 4-top table. That's okay since the wait was only 5 minutes on a Friday night. Service was spotty. On the table there are 4 flavors of housemade infused olive oil (spicy, rosemary + 2 others) plus a shaker with dry chile flakes. I love spicy pizza, so I added the hot oil and some chile flakes. The older gentleman came to my table and announced, "You just ruined your pizza." I responded, "This is how I like to eat it." And he walked away. I should have said, "Why is it on the table of I'm not supposed to use it?" It wasn't a joke and it made me feel unwelcome. I did not complain since I'm pretty sure he is the owner or owner's father. Just a comment in passing, but these things do affect the dining experience. I'll call for takeout if I give it another chance. The price is a good value $21 for a whole pizza + a small San Pellegrino.

I ordered 1 calabrese 1 margherita pizza and 1 strawberry salad tonight. I base quality of pizza on 2 things primarily, crust and sausage. The margherita was plus Italian sausage and the crust and Italian sausage was very good. The calabrese was terrible see pictures, The crust was so watery/soggy it had no structural integrity. I’m not sure about the “nudja” sausage but IF I order from here again it will be pizza with Italian sausage. The salad was fine. I cannot eat sardines so I did not have the Caesar salad. Overall I enjoyed the margherita plus sausage and I DID NOT enjoy the calabrese. It was inedible. The salad was fine. Margherita 8 Calabrese 3 Salad 5 ———————- Total = 5.3 just above average.
