You might be able to get a table on the sidewalk at this absolutely bangin', easily top 3 east bay pizza spot, but mostly this is a tiny takeout spot -- though you might be compelled to finish your slice or pie before your even reach your car. NYC style crispy crust pies cooked well done have a very satisfying initial crunch when you bite into it. Stellar ingredients a decent selection of slices and special pies, Pizza Ponte snuck under the radar without much fanfare, but should make everyone's top east bay list.

Hands down the best NY style pizza in the Bay Area! The only comparison I can think of is L’Industrie in NYC. If you don’t believe me, try it for yourself…and thank me later! Two brothers with a great founding story. And yes, the buffalo pizza is worth trying.

I don’t say this lightly… but this is THE BEST pizza in Oakland. The crust, the toppings, the consistency, 10/10 stars. Spicy ranch? Get outta here. New York style and Detroit style? Both flawless. Also this is a SMALL family owned business that we should all be supporting as often as possible because these brothers deserve it endlessly. They’ve created such an awesome neighborhood spot and we are so, so lucky to have them!

I had the green goddess pizza and it was delicious! The crust was light and airy. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Their green goddess pizza is full of flavor. Would definitely recommend this place.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, they nailed the crispiness, that thin dough and the ingredients taste amazing. Very high-quality didn’t take too long would definitely recommend.
