Stick with the pizza and salads. The pastas are skimpy with the meat. Signature thai chicken, BBQ chicken or marguerite pizzas are consistent favorites. Skip the sandwiches. I frequently go for lunch, both dine-in and take-out.

California Pizza Kitchen at this location definitely lived up to the experiences I’ve had at other locations in different cities. I stopped by during happy hour and tried the Caesar wedge salad, dynamite shrimp appetizer, chicken lettuce wraps, and coffee. The coffee was pretty average, but the salad and lettuce wraps were both fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. The real standout was the dynamite shrimp — easily one of the best shrimp appetizers I’ve had in a long time with the perfect crisp texture and really balanced flavor. The atmosphere felt relaxed and comfortable, making it an easy place to sit down and enjoy a casual meal. Service was smooth, and overall the experience felt consistent with what you’d hope for from CPK. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again to explore more of the menu.

There is a happy hour here Monday through Friday 3 to 6 PM and everything is delicious. I just got an eight dollar martini with TITOSso yes come and parking is only seven dollars because they validate. The manager Beatrice is really sweet.

I’ve been to the other California Pizza Kitchens in other cities and this one is just as great. During their “Happy Hour” times I was able to get a coffee, Caesar wedge salad, their dynamite shrimp appetizer & chicken lettuce wraps. The coffee was about average, the salad was pretty good because of the creamy dressing. The lettuce wraps was also pretty good and filling but the Dynamite shrimp stole the show. Probably the best appetizer shrimp I’ve ever had. The crisp was just right, flavor was on point and overall it was phenomenal. I’d definitely come back to this spot again to try their other menu items. Parking is local street or paid garage parking & I don’t know if they validate because I walked it.

Food had no taste meaning the pasta was dry. Ordered the carne asada pizza was good but beef was chewy. Manger was good gave me a free pasta, service was nice. Atmosphere was ok. Lots of homeless activities and parking sucks. I would not go to that location again.
